I am EBF and pumping. I bf DS for 19 months. My milk supply was ok. With DD, I have triple the amount of milk. with my son I don't remember being hungry all the time. Now with my daughter I can not eat enough. I am constantly starving. I'm not gaining weight, but I'm not losing either. I am about 10 pounds heavier then my pre pregnancy weight, 20 pounds just to be Vain. Anyone else always hungry?
Definitely- i'm pretty much always hungry, and unfortunately craving and eating not so great for me foods. I really need to do better with the kind of food I'm eating if the amount is so much...

Yesssssss... I say this eating a peanut butter and chocolate sprinkle sandwich half an hour before lunch time. I have this insatiable hunger that I didn't have when I was pregnant. I'm about 20 pounds heavier than my pre-preggo weight (I think... might be 15 as I didn't weigh myself for ages before) and it's not dropping despite breastfeeding. And I'm genuinely hungry! My stomach rumbles all day :/
Me too! I have literally not been full since DD was born. I just stop eating because I figure I have had enough. I am still 15 lbs over my PP weight and not gaining or losing.
I'm glad I'm not alone. I thought about checking my thyroid. I'm way more hungry now BFing than I was pregnant! DH makes comments in a joking manner, but I think it bugs. Then he told me I need to be careful, because I'm not going to breast feed forever. I told him to shut up as I got 5th taco. I'm still eating for 2 and can eat as much if not more than DH. I always came home with a doggy bag and my plate is clean and I'm starving an hour later.
Always hungry here too, I think it was what I was chowing down on. Carbs seem to pass thru me in an hour or 2, protein keeps me satiated longer. DH is disappointed that he doesn't get to eat half my entree anymore.
So hungry all the time! It was worse for the first month but I'm still perma hungry. And if I don't have snacks between meals (did this a couple days when I was distracted by being busy / out of the house) I ate so much the next time food was offered. Snacking is much better.

I find myself extremely hungry in the morning between breakfast and lunch and sometimes in the afternoon. It sucks when you are trying to lose weight. But it makes me feel better to think that my body is using at least some of what I eat to make milk... depending on how much he eats, about 500 calories a day. I pretty much eat that in snacks though and try to stick to a 2,000 calorie a day diet because I also exercise. I lost all the baby weight and like 2 pounds but I am being vain and want to lose 10 more for my wedding.
I too get "shaky" hungry when I haven't eaten for a while OR my meal was a poor simple carbohydrate choice. I've been eating protein bars as snacks and finds that helps a lot! Think thin is my favorite.
I go back to work Monday and I'm worried about not having enough food in my office.
I'm worried about eating all the junk food lying around. Going in for 4 hours today, then part time on Monday. I have such a hard time resisting that stuff!
Starving. ALL. DAY. EVERY. DAY. my weight has stayed pretty steady about 5 pounds over my pre pregnancy weight for the last month (12 weeks pp tomorrow) and I am EPing and not really exercising. I think I am eating more now than I did when I was pregnant!
I'm always hungry! I feel hungrier than I did while pregnant. I find i need to eat a morning snack between breakfast and lunch, and another snack before dinner. Then I snack on junk food while watching TV after my toddler is asleep. I'm trying to cut out the late night snack, or at least make it healthy. I'm 10 lbs heavier than pre-pregnancy, but not too worried about it. I've been slowly losing weight, and adding in more exercise is helping.
Another one who's always hungry. We need to get some healthier snacks too.
I fear I'll be in maternity jeans forever (or until he weans, whatever). The problem is it's too hot to wear pants in the summer, and I obviously don't have warm weather maternity clothes. I'll need to hit up the thrift store for some bigger shorts and skirts in the meantime.

I have been exercising since 3 weeks pp but this week I decided to get serious about cleaning up my diet. I have started tracking what I eat again, not just for calories but also to make sure my macros are balanced. I will weigh myself again on Friday. Last week I lost 1/2 lb. It's not much but I'll take it.
Oh, yes, so hungry! Gimme all the foods! It was worse the first month but it's still bad. I try to eat proper meals and snack on somewhat healthy things in between... but I just made cookies! I'm back at my pre-preg weight, although what used to be muscles is now, well, not. I just figure my body needs the energy so I try not to worry about it. As long as I produce enough milk to feed DD I'm not gonna mess with the status quo.

I'm with you guys. I'm back at pre-preg weight but staying steady. I'm still a good 80lbs or so overweight but right now I'm just happy to stay steady. I bought a bunch of granola sort of snacks for at work.
I'm in the oh, well this is my weight camp right now. I don't want to deprive my body of the calories and them my pumped ounces per day may fall so I'm just existing as is. There will be plenty of time later to work on me. Right now it's about her.
But I do have to get my butt back in gear and start my 1/2 marathon training again. January and February are closer than I think.
