I'm in the market (likely second hand market) for a double jogging stroller. We have a Bob single jogger that I like quite a bit, but our new guy is going to need a seat in a few months when it warms up and he's got some good head control. I'm not sold on needing to get a Bob. Just looking for something durable and is a smooth ride for the kiddos.

+1 on this post! Although my 2 month old is a little ways away from being able to ride in a jogger, I still have the impulse to do research! I can't help it! I'm a runner! So far my LO does well in his regular stroller, so that gives me hope that he will be just fine during a run.
We have the BOB Revolution (single). Not the SE the other one. Not really sure the difference. It was on sale so we picked it up. I like it a lot. It folds very easily if you drive to any trails. The wheels easily pop off with a flip of a lever for even more compact storage, but are solid and stable when locked in place. I can put it in the trunk of my Carolla with no problem and still have a bit of room. It also has a front wheel that you can unlock if you want to use it as a regular stroller. It is a bit bulky to take in stores and stuff, but I would leave it in my car and use it in a pinch. The ability to unlock and swivel the front wheel is nice for general walks though because it had a much smoother ride than our umbrella, especially on all the uneven sidewalks where we lived. The only upkeep is the occasional tire pressure and a little WD-40 on the suspension springs to clean out debris and prevent it from squeaking.
I'm curious about turnability in a double. The Revolution is easy to turn. A locked wheel is a must and this model is light enough to gently raise the front for any major turns, and is able take gentle curves with minimal effort and impact to your stride without the finesse of having to do a slight wheelie.

Wow, thanks for the pretty thorough review! Sounds like this is definitely worthy of my consideration!
