Anyone want to participate?
Trying to get more of the new ladies involved and also maybe un newb myself today. So what's going on in your world?
1) The good-- things with the SO are going really well. Like, really really. We talked about him moving in after my divorce is final, which should hopefully be June 1 the latest. I'm a little worried about taking this step and sort of letting friends/ family in on this plan (if/ when we do decide to make this happen) because of judgement, but for now, I am excted about it.
2) The bad-- Josie is sick again. About 2 weeks ago she had a nasty cough and cold, felt better for a few days and then started complaining of an ear ache. Sure enough she's got the beginnings of an infection, and is on a 10 day round of anti- biotics. Poor kid can't catch a break with the sick stuff this year so far.
3) The ugly-- getting used to living alone and my new routine has me feeling completely overwhelmed. I am up at 5:15 in the morning so I can get ready, get J ready, drop off J, get my ass to the train station, schlep into the city to get there by 8:30am. I feel exhausted before my work day even starts. I don't get to my mom's house to pick up J until maybe 6:50pm, then I scoop her up, drive to our apt(maybe a 15 min drive) do a bath, play for a bit then off to bed. If I am sitting on down by 815/830 it's a miracle. I know I will get used to it, but Monday I ugly cried on the train behind my sunglasses thinking about my current schedule.
