Does anyone have or know where to find a milk free shopping guide that lists safe products? I know I used to have a gfcf shopping guide but idk where it went and currently I only need a milk free shopping guide for ds2.
I haven't found anything that lists 'safe' products (although I'm new to this so it may be out there somewhere). I have found several lists of ingredients to avoid when reading labels on food. Like this one: www.foodallergy.org/document.doc?id=133
This may be more difficult depending on where you live and shop, but I started looking in the Kosher section. People kind of blow off food allergies and intolerances sometimes, but people don't mess with religion. Since I had to avoid dairy and soy, I started with Kosher and then just had to check for soy. It made for some random snacks, but it worked for me. I don't use a guide because I feel like companies change their recipes all the time these days. I get headaches from Splenda/sucralose and I feel like that gets added to foods every time I shop. Here's a little info abou the Kosher labeling. www.kidswithfoodallergies.org/page/kosher-labeling-and-milk-or-dairy-allergy.aspx

I know this thread is old, but I thought I'd add to it in case anyone is looking for answers. I use the Shop Well app, you can put in the allergens you're trying to avoid and it will give you lists of foods to buy. You can also scan a food and it will tell you if it's safe.
