I know we talked a bit about food yesterday, but my husband has informed me that we will not be able to go to Sonic for dinner every night this week. Therefore I have to go grocery shopping today or tomorrow. Any ideas floating around?
So far I have: Spaghetti squash with sausage Chicken Alfredo Tacos Homemade na'an pizza Bbq brisket sandwiches
I really should just make a month template of meals at some point.
Thai coconut turkey skewers with grilled plums and rice noodle salad Indies-inspired beef (roasted with brussels sprouts, tomatoes, onion, and carrot) with kalamata and raisin compote over polenta Greek pork medallions/tapas Spaghetti Brats Fish and broccoli Something from a bag

@imapenguin, my cart was definitely about half fruit today as well. mmmmm.
My menu is always so boring, but here it is:
Salmon - With peppers & broccoli & rolls Steak - on the grill. Probably with potatoes & salad. Tacos - I bought an avocado to make them fancier Pizza bagels - For a lazy night Some Trader Joe's frozen meal - for an even lazier night

carolyngrace, a menu that has both steak and salmon in one week is hardly boring!!! I don't do nearly as much planning as all yall seem to do, I just go to the store and buy a bunch of stuff, and make whatever comes to my mind as the days go by. I am thoroughly impressed by this thread!
DH is gone this weekend so my meals have been totally sporadic and very mismatchy. I had pineapple, strawberries and banana walnut bread for breakfast. I just had a bagel and an Asian Apple salad from panera for lunch. And I think i am going to make myself a quesadilla for dinner. I'm going grocery shopping tomorrow, and this is what I'm planning on for the week: -Grilled Steak, roasted new potatoes and sautéed asparagus -Glazed pork loin with cous cous and Brussels sprouts w/ craisins and toasted walnuts -spinach, roasted garlic and tomato boboli pizza -penne with burst cherry tomatoes, zucchini, squash and Parmesan -grilled chicken gyros with tzatziki, fresh veggies and French fries (just like I used to have in Greece)
I'm so indecisive that I just wanted to avoid cooking altogether the rest of this pregnancy! I've planned: -meatloaf -spaghetti w/ crockpot sausage -tacos -chicken stroganoff -pancakes, eggs & sausage (we ❤️ Breakfast for dinner!)
Since the weather is gorg today and tomorrow we plan to grill: - turkey dogs - corn on the cob - grilled veggies - chicken kabobs or bbq chicken - for some unknown reason, an orange fluff salad sounds good
Tuesday is Cinco De Mayo: - guacamole - homemade salsa - enchiladas or tacos
pizza balls with homemade veggie sauce, roasted chicken with roasted veg tacos for 5/5 chicken salad using Monday's leftovers and couscous/carrot/raisin salad as a side Thursday is leftovers from the week. (i shop on thursdays)
