What do you want for Mother's Day?

My husband didn't do anything for me for what I considered my first Mother's Day, which was a month before our first daughter was born.  I would have loved it if he had. So, mamas, what would you like for Mother's Day this year?

My husband is going man camping on Wednesday and won't even be home until Sunday night, so I'll have all 3 kids by myself for 5 days.  I think what I want most for Mother's Day is an IOU for a new maternity wardrobe when I need it. We donated most of my maternity clothes and they'd been through 2 pregnancies so they were pretty well loved.

I work for part of the day which sucks. I work every weekend in the spring/summer - thats how we avoid paying for daycare! I would really like a pedi. Now that it's finally nice here, my toes need some TLC!

I quit my job a year ago, but I was working every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. It sucked. The only weekend I didn't work was my husband's Guard weekend every month. We never had a day off together unless one of us called in sick. When I go back to work I want it to be somewhere with a normal schedule. I don't want to go back to a hospital.

It sucks!! I'm thinking this will be my last summer. My last student loan will be paid off next year, and my husband does well enough where I don't have to work. The only problem is I'll need to have something to do to get out of the house. I think I might have a hard time being a full time stay at home mom. I need adult time!!!

I never really thought about it. I don't think I want anything. I might just wake up that morning and tell him he now has a year to plan.

I just want my husband to let me sleep in! My girls are early risers, like 5 or 6 am! I am generally the one who gets up with them, so I would like a break. Then maybe we will go shopping for some vegetable plants and come home and plant them.

H didn't do anything the year I was pregnant, and I didn't expect him to. My sister bought me a card though lol

Same for me. Having a relaxing day without all the chaos would be fabulous.

Same here. I really don't think it's hit MH yet! If I asked for something for Mother's Day he would probably just tell me to wait until next year !

So I got nothing for my "first" (KU) Mother's Day, which kind of hurt my feelings at the time, and MH ran a marathon on my first "real" Mother's Day. He did get me nice gifts, though and we saw everyone in our family and ending up having a super nice day, so it wasn't all bad... I just had to get up at the crack of dawn and do baby duty on my own half the day.

This year, I would like a card, flowers, to sleep in, and to be off any poopy diaper or whiney toddler duty. That's basically it. I actually have a facial booked on Saturday, and plan to get myself a pedicure and my hair cut in the next week or two as well, so plenty of "me time" will be had.

I have a work trip the week of Memorial Day, so I need to look good

I prepaid for my facials in December and got 50% off for the YEAR! I am SO glad I did because otherwise I would totally cut them out now to save for baby.
