Your reaction to the new British royal baby is not "oh, how cute!" or "yay, baby!" -- but "I like that bonnet. Can I find the pattern on Rav, or can I duplicate it? Looks like fingering weight with faux cables..."

When your stash (yarn, stationery and fabric for me) start out in a small container, and eventually take up entire portions of a room- or a whole room if you're really lucky!!
If you spend as much time on Pinterest/ revelry looking for patterns as you do looking for ways to organize said huge stashes.
I haven't been around here much (crafting rut)...but when you justify the Sunday paper because you will recoup the cost by using the JoAnns, Michaels, and Hobby Lobby coupons. (I get the emails and direct mailing too)

That is my exact logic. I don't get the mailings though as I need to figure out how to get them (and emails don't really do me much good because I don't have an easy way to print anything). I have been annoyed lately though because now that I want a JoAnn's one, of course there hasn't been an ad in the paper in a couple of months (at least not the weeks I actually got the paper).

I think you can sign up online and I know you can sign up in their store. My store has the readers for the coupons from your phone so you don't have to print them off. I even get texts. *takes off green JAS apron*

Thanks for the info. It has been quite a while since I have been to JoAnn's, but MH has one near him, so I foresee much more frequent trips in my future. Do you think the reader would work if I took my tablet? I don't have a smart phone.

Not 100% sure (I worked there like 7 years ago) but I would guess as long as you have a picture/screen shot saved on your tablet it would work since that is all they need to scan. I have an iPhone but the image should be the same. I think I've taken screen shots with the target cartwheel app before and it worked (the wifi in mine is awful and I don't always get cell service)

That's what I figured since smart phone screens are all different sizes so the image size probably didn't matter. Now to figure out how to take a screen shot (I only know it can because LO accidentally did it once . Worst case scenario, I take a screen shot from the computer and email myself the image to open on the tablet because some of those coupons would certainly be worth it, especially with my lengthy wish list lately including a few pricier things I can't really justify to myself they are worth buying. Guess we will find out soon(-ish) if it works.

cam you can download the GeoQpons app on your tablet for coupons to Michael 's, Hobby Lobby, and JoAnn's (plus other retail and restaurants). You don't have to print anything.
cam, You can sign up for Joann's mailers online- they're ALWAYS better than the app's coupons these days. Sign up for the emails- I get most of the good mailer ones via email, too(and the 40/50/60% off ones have different numbers than the mailers, so you can use them all). Access your emails from the tablet at home, screenshot the coupons, shouldn't be a problem at all- they CAN enter the coupon via the numbers on it, if it doesn't scan.
What's your tablet? It's likely either power+home (ios), power+vol down (most android 4.0+), possibly power+home (my Samsung android devices do it this way).

Good to know you can use multiple coupons. I am currently using a Kindle Fire. I couldn't find any information on screen shooting in the "help" section (and the paper manual if it even came with one is packed). I know LO did it on my old tablet which is an old Android and knew it was power+something, so your information helps because I could use that tablet if needed (it just only has a maybe half hour of battery life per charge anymore when actually in use which would give me enough for this use). Hopefully in the next week or two I can put this information to good use as I have a project on a tight deadline I need a few things for, plus some stuff for the next projects too.

On all fires since 2013 (maybe late 2012?), the typical android power button+volume down button works!
Unfortunately, original fires are a total PITA to take screenshots on- but, I can get you there, if that's your situation.

(Originals don't have a volume button).
That works! Thanks! Awesome! Bonus that while I had been trying to figure it out, I discovered I have Excel which is pretty close to life changing as I use it for soooo much but have limited access at times.
You have different " levels" of scissors in the house, with the really really nice ones tucked away in a top secret hiding spot.
... and you have more scissors than you have rooms in the house. Personally, I may even be able to count closets and the garage as "rooms." I am not even that hardcore of a crafter compared to many people. I never even thought to call myself a crafter until I found this board and realized I am a better fit here than I first thought (well, just don't base it on my pathetic WIP posts though for some time now).
You have piles of unfinished projects and yet keep buying stuff for the next project you want to start!
This 100 times over.
I may be guilty of this considering Joann' s firefly sale was this week. Although, I did also buy backer for my t-shirt quilt.. in addition to supplies for 3 more projects. Whoops.
