I made 2 registries just for the completion coupons. As a STM I didn't/don't need much, but I definitely had a few things I wanted to get. Today I'm 35 weeks (35/35....ahh!!) and an thinking about buying my Amazon items. I'm slightly annoyed I couldn't find more of the same items at Target since I have 5 coupon codes to use to space out purchases, so some of my more expensive things are at Amazon. I just keep thinking as soon as I buy the items, I'll likely think of something else I wanted to get that they won't have at Target and I won't get to save the 15%, which really isn't a big deal, but that's why I keep waiting. So if you completed yours, how far along were you?
I completed both of mine yesterday and I'm 34+3 weeks. Mostly I did it because we are leaving town for 5 days this week which puts my next free weekend at 36+ weeks and I didn't want to feel overwhelmed. We ended up not getting our monitor off either registry, and will hopefully find a deal at Target on that one.

I have a drop dead date of completing registries of 37 weeks. Giving a little bit more time for gifts that might come in. I'm also only purchasing what I need in the next 3 months or so since we have quite a bit left on our registries and I'm not ready to foot that bill all at once just for 10-15% off. Plus our Endless Rewards from BRU will come in circa 6 weeks post due date for me to make some purchases with.

My shower isn't happening until May 31st when I'll be 36w4d.. so I'm imagining myself waddling around BRU and Target completing my registries sometime immediately after that, or just doing it online, all depending on what I do or do not receive at the shower and if they are things I can or cannot wait on shipping for. I'm trying really hard not to stress about this waiting thing, and trying not to just go out and buy things that I know that I need but very feasibly will be receiving as gifts. SO tells me to relax and let it work itself out. I ask him what happens if I end up having the baby at 36w3d lol. He says he'll go out and buy everything... Argh!

Amazon sent me a 15% coupon code email thing. I'm a STM as well. I haven't purchased by yet bc I'm trying to decide if there's anything I still want to add.
STM did you get new pacifiers? I got new nipples for my bottles, but I don't want to end up with 40 pacifiers between my two kids.
From my understanding pacifiers are supposed to be replaced every X (3?) Months anyway (if you look at the package). We got a new wubbanub for LO but I haven't actually purchased new pacis yet. (Though I don't even know where any ate from DS anymore...)

I did - I don't trust pacifiers that are 3 years old! But just a package of a couple different brands (since it took us forever to figure out what LBB liked).
Drat. Ok. My daughter never really used them, but somehow I still have a million from her first 6 months when I kept trying. I guess I'll get new ones; thanks!

I used my Amazon one yesterday after our shower for our carseat and extra base.
We took a trip to Target today to exchange some duplicate items and purchase some of the things off our registry that we definitely needed (FTM here)...and stood there and added them all onto our registry just to get the 15% discount on them.
We are trying to spread our purchases out a bit, we still have the other 15% off coupons from Target (yes, I know they are *supposed* to be for friends and family to use) and our BRU coupon
I don't have my last shower until after 36 weeks so I'll work on stuff then. I did get my target coupons, though, so I'm going to likely get some things in the meantime!
Baby Elliott (technically) due 6.13.2015 but born via c-section on 4.12.2015 at 31w1d after 31d of hospital arrest (think house arrest) for monitoring.

I believe the most important thing with pacifiers (also to some degree, bottle nipples) is how heavily they were used. So if your DD tried a specific pacifier once or twice and then never used it again, I'd probably just boil it and keep it on hand just in case... then if you find LO really likes one of those brands you could buy a bunch of new ones. However, if your DD used a pacifier very heavily for weeks/months, that one should be thrown away immediately. I replaced almost all pacifiers and all nipples because they were heavily worn, but kept a few of the ones DD never took to.
STM I used my 15% off Amazon recently, but I didn't buy some of the things that the coupon couldn't be used on or that I was able to put on my Target registry. If I would have bought everything it would have been around $600 and DH would have went nuts... he is of the mindset we shouldn't need anything else for a second kid.
I went through and added anything I couldn't find locally cheaper to buy on Amazon the other day and calculated cost today. MIL and FIL just bought us our bassinet, bumbo cover, bassinet sheets and a pacifier clip from our list yesterday so that took a chunk off what we had planned to buy still. I think the rest is getting purchased in about 2 weeks when DH is home finally.
I'm 33 wks 2 days. I bought a few things off of my Babies'R'Us registry before getting the completion discount because they were on sale (20% breast pump and BOGO 1/2 off Bamboobies). I received my discount coupon now so we'll probably use it soon, not really in a rush since most of our baby gifts are still in a giant pile and I've been buying stuff from other places as well (that aren't available at BRU).
I also made a registry at Target for the completion discount and got those coupons in about a week ago. It's awesome that there are a bunch of 15% coupons 'for friends and family' to use. I used one so far for a Boba wrap and some baby clothes.
My showers aren't for another 2-3 weeks. I'll be 35w3d at my last shower. I just went through my BRU and Target registries and added stuff to my secret Amazon registry. I highly doubt I will want to take my 36+w pregnant self through the stores. At least Target has changed their shipping policy prices. My coupons for completion to Amazon and Target have come already. I haven't seen my BRU one yet. The main drawback is that the closest BRU is 40 minutes away. There is a Toys R Us in our city but it doesn't have as much as a BRU. I registered at BRU because a bunch of my friends live near one. (And BBB is almost an hour away. Honestly, that store scares me!!)
FTM and I am 35w4d. We only registered at amazon. I did my registry completion a week ago. My work shower was done at 30 weeks and my family/friends shower was done at 33 weeks. I figured we were safe to do our completion.
billyhorrible, where did you register for the breast pump tubing? I was given a breast pump from a friend that I plan to try out before buying my own, so I need to replace the tubing. If I can do it through a registry with a discount, even better.
Most of the stores have it, but I found it cheapest at Amazon. And then I had the completion discount on top of that:
