I'm sorry @mothereffer. We were there with Finn over the summer and it was the hardest decision we've ever made. Did your vet talk about the possibility of medication?
I think reaching out to FB is a good plan. There might be a no kill rescue in your area if that doesn't work. Sometimes they will get your message out if you're willing to continue to care for her until they place her.

Ugh that sucks :-( Have you ever watched that show where they try to fix cats behavioral problems. It sounds like you have tried a lot of different things. I wish I could think of something for you.
Is she an indoor cat? DH won't let me take anymore inside cats, but he is OK with barn cats. I'm guessing that might not be the kind of life you want for her.

Does she have places that are just for her? Perhaps a tall cat tree where Si can't reach her. I am really sorry you are having to deal with this. Perhaps a friend of yours could take her in that doesn't have kids or other animals so that she can be an only child.

I'm so sorry, having to even THINK about having to re-home a pet is heartbreaking Also, cat pee is so so hard to get out of stuff so I can definitely see how that probably adds to the stress as well.
This is so sad. I'm so sorry you have to think about this.
Is there a special cat vet in your area? Weird as that sounds, we have a place here that specializes in cats that's all they do, and they have behavioral consults. I would try that if it's a possibility. Like finnaroo said, maybe an oral sedative to reduce anxiety?
Sinny has never peed in the house or acted vicious towards A, but he does make it known when he thinks he isn't getting enough attention. Is it possible to give her extra cuddle time once Si is in bed? We let Sinny come into the nursery to participate in the bedtime routine and he just loves it. Does she hate kids so much that she won't want to be around him at all? Sinny perches on the edge of the changing table overseeing jammies, toothbrushing, etc. Then we bring him downstairs for a walk, snack, and turn on his heating pad. I think because he knows he gets all our love once A is asleep and we started a special routine for him, he started to settle down.

I'm so sorry to hear that your at this point, it sounds really stressful for everyone and it sounds like you've tried and thought of everything to make it better.
The possible situation with your friend sounds perfect- I hope it works out and if it does it sounds like it will bring a lot if happiness to everyone involved.
So sorry, @mothereffer. I agree with others that you have to do what's best for you and the cat. It sounds like the option with your friend is a good one. I hope it works out!
So sorry, @mothereffer. I saw your post on FB, and then where your friend said she might be interested. Hope things work out! And then you could still visit your kitty on occasion:)
