I know something about meal plans was posted in the weekly threads. I don't always have a whole week planned out, but I usually have a few days. So, who wants to share what's on your plate for tonight? We're having beef stew. Coming back from sunny Florida to gloomy Chicago put me in the mood for something warm and hardy.
We are having crock pot french dip sandwiches. YUM! Very easy and deeeelicious. It's in our rotation fairly often. I think tomorrow is stuffed peppers. DH and I alternate meal planning each week, and it was his week this time.

This week we have had spaghetti with sausage and tomato sauce, baked sweet potatoes with barbecued pork, tonight we are eating out because we have a showing on the house (wish us luck!) and tomorrow I am going to make chicken in enchilada sauce in the crock pot, to put in either tacos or tostadas.

We had music class and a play date today, so I am exhausted. I am going to see if DH will pick something up on his way home. Here is what we had earlier in the week.
Sunday: hamburgers, sweet potato fries Monday: chicken fajitas, black beans, rice Tuesday: roasted chicken with butternut squash, carrots and onions
callmeal Does your DH cook too? I can't remember the last time DH has cooked anything. I would love to share dinner duty, but he gets home too late.
He actually does most of the cooking. He goes to work super early, so he picks up the kids and gets home first, so he starts dinner. We split the planning evenly, though, and the rules are that all meals have to be fairly simple since he has to cook them while juggling an 11 month old and a spirited 3 yr old by himself.
DH and i share cooking responsibilities. And we have been doing way better w meal planning. Mon was homemade broccoli and cheddar soup, tues was chilli, tonight was chicken cesar salad, tomorrow we're doing breakfast for dinner so egg, porkroll and cheese sandwiches w hash browns. Friday leftovers, sat pizza.
