Cycle/Month: 2nd cycle trying

CD/DPO: BFP was CD 24/10DPO

Timing: -3, -1, O

What we did: BBT, CM, OPKs, EOD sex except when I knew it was O day, but that was also because I was flying out of town the next day so I wanted one more time before I left.

EDD: January 15th, 2016 by LMP (14th by O date)

Symptoms: Cravings for a few days and sore boobs day before BFP. Now, still the boobs and unrelated allergies.

Why I tested early: So I originally planned to wait until 12 DPO, today, to test because my LP is usually 10-12 days and since H is off tomorrow I could have surprised him then. Well, on Saturday at 9 DPO, I had a major temp drop, like 0.6 degrees and just barely above the cover line. I had shared this with the TWW girls and I got super bummed (you can see my chart in my siggy, I stopped temping after BFP so I don't go mad). I was worried I was going to have the shortest LP I ever had, previously the shortest was 9 days a few cycles ago and I liked that all the others have been 10 or greater. Well, I woke up Sunday and my temp spiked higher than ever before. I decided to go about my morning and hold my pee until H went to work which was tough. After almost peeing my pants running to the bathroom once he left, I used a trusty Wondfo. I didn't have much hope really, after all I was just 10 DPO, so I just went back downstairs to let my dog out and put him on the leash at 5 minutes to go up and check it out. AND there it was. A second line on a Wondfo, and it was clear, and pink. I was shocked that it wasn't even a squinter. So pretty much a glaring implantation dip for me.

How I Told MH: So I shared with two close friends first (hey girls!) and sought advice for how to tell H. I decided on a card, a pacifier with some yellow ribbon to place on the card, and I bought an FRER so he wouldn't question the lighter line on the Wondfo (and he did after I showed him my original test, so grateful I got the FRER! My lines were both really clear on FRER). I taped the FRER inside the card, closed it, and put the pacifier on top of the card. Then the hard part, I had to go to his parents that day and be normal... After I got home, I was cooking dinner when he finally came home from work. Of course he wanted to do something outside real fast instead of just coming inside like normal. Luckily he's a good husband and I told him I needed him to come here first, and he came lol. On the counter he saw the pacifier.. "Uh Oh, what does that mean??" "Open it up." *opens card and sees FRER*
Instantly he got the biggest and most childish smile haha and gave me a big ol' hug and kiss. It was awesome. In the aftermath he would do the old "So uhh, heh, so now what?" and "Yea that's pretty much, uh, definitely a line there" as he lifted off his hat. It was cute how thrown off he was.

Um, yeah, this definitely should have stayed in the TWW thread. You've hardly posted in any threads other than WTO and TWW, so most of the general board doesn't know you. You pretty much just announced your pregnancy to a room full of strangers, most of whom are actively trying to get pregnant (and some for a long time).
