Recommend your light/sound machine

I want to get lo a new light and sound machine. We currently have one by munchkin but the projector gets stuck sometimes and she seems kinda scared by a still picture of an animal in her ceiling vs the moving slide show.

And I won't lie, I want hers for our room. I'm not a great sleeper and it's so soothing. We took it on a trip and I passed out super early that night.

So for her new one I need something that does both light and sound and can run all night long.

I think we have two of the same kind you have, or at least something similar (I feel like they may be from Homemedics). Our projectors stopped working too, but I love the sound as well. My kids aren't bothered by the light not moving. I think I would be sad if they were since I like it so much. Hopefully you find a good replacement!

We love our sound machine. Small, portable, cheap. Sometimes LO thinks it is a toy during the day.  However, there is no light.

We use the munchkin and love it. It's runs for every nap and overnight and we haven't had any problems. That said, we don't use the projector at all, just the white noise.

Maybe you got a dud?

We use the Vicks humidifier, it projects lights on the celling that change colour. And the humidifier has a loud and quiet setting so we put it on loud. If she needs more noise we use an iPod.

Yeah I've already exchanged it once.  The music works fine, just the projector stop running now and again.

We have an iPod Dock that we use - it has a light option too but we don't use it.

It has a blue nightlight but not projection. It also has a connector for plugging in an iPod if you want to play your own music.
