So I know it's been discussed "over there" but was wondering if anyone had first hand experience with fibroids? If so anyone with complications due to fibroids? Mine is on a "stalk" so has a potential of twisting and breaking/decaying in my uterus :/ I can literally feel it by poking/prodding in my uterine area, as of now it doesn't cause pain/discomfort and an hoping this little fucker shrinks as time goes on. So ladies... anyone have any first hand info?

No complications here, as mine were on the outside of my uterus, so I'm sorry I don't have first hand helpful experience. My cousin had a very large one (think, pear-sized) on the inside of her uterus so she a) was monitored closely and b) had a scheduled c-section because it ended up blocking her cervix. I think she also had injections of Lovenox because of it, but I don't know what that did for her.
Fingers crossed your doctor will keep an eye on things, and it'll just stay off to the side and not get complicated. And also hopefully someone has something more helpful to say.

I do not. Can you update the name of the thread to something with Fibroids? Maybe you will get more response?
I was told at last us that I have a fibroid as well. The doctor didn't seed too concerned about it. I will be having bi-weekly ultrasounds so they can monitor my cervix. This is one thing I refuse to Google. I just don't want to know. I can't change anything so I don't want to worry about something else. I have enough to worry about. I'm sure your doctor will keep an eye on it. Hoping for a healthy pregnancy for all of us!
