This kiddo now happily hangs out on her belly, looking all around. She used to complain sooo much about tummy time. She is starting to scoot backwards some.
She also rolls and rolls from back to belly. Still waiting for belly to back. Still lives her kick and play piano.
We're waiting for words, still. MH thinks "tatata" is "dadada". Lol.
And she grabbed the spoon yesterday during sweet potato time.
Baby sits up unassisted, which makes me think she's such a big girl now! But what amazes me most of all is how very expressive she is. I think she is doing a fantastic job of communicating. I can tell her moods and needs. She's now this tiny little person interacting with the world in a meaningful way! I remember (almost) six months ago...

Great post idea!
Myles is 5 1/2 months. He amazes me every day! He can roll both ways, but he doesn't do it very often anymore. He is sitting up unassisted, but he also still loves to be on his back and eat his toes. He jumps like a crazy man in his doorway jumper and jumperoo. He doesn't care for the exersaucer. He has so much fun in his duck tub. I absolutely love watching him kick and splash.
I am having so much fun watching him discover new things.
Oh - his new thing is screeching like a taradactyl. (Spell?)
Liam is so fun right now! He is such a wiggle worm and I fear the day he starts crawling because he will just take off!
He rolls all around the world back to belly and belly to back. Sits up unassisted but not for long. Definitely have to be right next to him. He loves to screech. He definitely has some specific happy noises and mad noises etc.
He loves to eat his toes at any chance he gets and loves to explore his voice with all the screaming and screeching. I love this and can't wait to continue to watch him discover new things daily.

Knox is six months and two weeks tomorrow. He just found out how to put his toes in his mouth. He sits up unassisted but wobbly and needs someone to stand by to lessen the fall. Rolls all over the place and loves to coo at people and objects. No real letter sounds yet. Gets up on hands and knees and rocks back and forth. Loves his solids at night. Loves baths and splashing the water. Is falling asleep on his own in bed and sleeping long stretches at night. It's amazing to see what he comes up with everyday!
DD is just over 5 months. She sits with minimal assistance, rolls from belly to back, and is sooo close to rolling from back to belly. She makes mmmmm noises and lots of screeches now. It's so cute!
LO was 6 months last Friday. He has been eating purées for a few weeks now. He loves sweet potato.
I lay him down on his back and he immediately flips to his tummy. This is so different than the month old baby that hated tummy time and would just another his face into the floor while crying. He is starting to show signs of wanting to crawl, but he doesn't have the strength and coordination yet. He gets on his hands, but when he pulls himself up onto his knees, his head and chest come down to the floor. I am sure he will figure it out before I am ready for him to.
DD will be 6 months in about a week. She talks a lot- says lots of g, p, m, and b sounds and says "ama" when crying.
She doesn't roll all the way over in either direction... she has figured out her own way of moving around. It's kind of hard to explain, but she uses a combination of rolling to her side, arching her back, and scooting with her feet. She can get pretty far by doing this which is a little scary for me!
Not sitting unassisted yet, but likes to be propped up with pillows. She also enjoys standing on our laps.
Eats purees and doesn't eat much, but so far her favorite has been green beans.
Sucks her thumb all the time. It's so adorable, and I'm glad I don't have to buy/clean/keep track of pacifiers lol.
nerdalert I have a thumb sucker, too! Definitely adorable, and always convenient that it's attached. We will cross the weaning when we need to, but for now- enjoy your thumb child!
DD will be six months on the 20th and is sitting really well! She lean forward to grab toys and sit back up, every once and a while she leans too far back and goes down, but is doing great.
Since the first time she rolled at about 4 months I've only seen her do it about 4 other times, she just doesn't seem interested in it.
She's only had puréed yams once and she liked them, we just haven't been in a hurry to start solids because breastfeeding is going well. I guess we did put an apple in one of those mesh things this weekend and she went crazy. Almost put herself to sleep sucking on it. Too adorable.
We've had a few nights of sleep from 7:30-7 with only one wake up, otherwise it's usually 2-3 a night.
She hates pacifiers but occasionally sucks her fingers, usually chews on them lol.
She's starting to get really excited and laugh when she sees me or DH. Her personality is really shining through and I just love her!!
Oh, and she loves to try and suck on her toes. She's recently been able to grab one foot with both hands which I think is a big development thing!
