Doing the nt and some genetic bloodwork... I have high deductible insurance and I will surely be meeting my deductible so I said, "fuck it let's do it all!"

I was offered based on my age, but we're not doing it.

My office offers it and says it is still only $25 from the lab they use. I'm praying she isn't wrong, because that's cheaper than the NT scan would be for us and my doc thinks very highly of it. Getting to find out the sex early is a nice bonus.

I wish I could get it done but insurance won't cover so I will be patient a few more months

We aren't. Doc said we could if we wanted but it's just too much for me to handle and I don't need the stress on top of everything. Plus the insurance cost is just too much for us ATM. We are just doing the normal routine stuff.

I'm not doing it- I asked my dr for it because my husbands nephew was born with a lot of problems and because he's 35, but the dr said I shouldn't worry. What does freak me out though is the our nuchal screening won't be till I'm 13 weeks and a half, and I'm suuper nervous

Yup. Anatomy scan at 18-20 weeks. My midwife group is pretty low intervention, no unnecessary testing, and I like that. No risk factors, no need.
