littleapplemom, those pee while they're getting changed moments are the worst!
DD slept pretty well last night, but I woke up to her having peed through her diaper and onto her sleep suit which I just washed. I'm about to start a three day stretch of 12.5 hour shifts, and DH is working this weekend too, so DD will be going to my sister's for Friday through Sunday. I'm missing her already. On the bright side, I have two weeks off after that for a family trip, so I'll get lots of baby cuddles in then.
So now I understand Liam's sleep pattern. Sleep through the night a few days in a row so he can be wide awake for another few days in a row. Maybe tonight will go back to actual sleep?
littleapplemom 3am full outfit change is seriously the worst! I feel like my brain doesn't work that early. zengal no fun! My lo won't let me get near her with the Frida anymore, I have to majorly distract her to even try kaimee27 where are you going for your family vacation??
Another night of lo tossing and turning, her longest stretch was 2 hrs...give me all the coffee this morning (or my one cup I allow myself)
I noticed a huge lump on my neck/throat yesterday and had a doc at work look at it and she said it's my thyroid. They seemed pretty concerned and helped me set up an appointment today to get it checked out. It hurts like hell and after consulting Dr Google I've throughly freaked myself out! Hope it goes well today, of course I have to take lo with me so I hope she's good

kfaye- Hoping everything is okay, Dr.Google is never helpful in these situations. jjh1119- I suspect that this is Isaac's new routine as well. kaimee27-hope your days fly by so you can spend more time with LO. nerdalert- Does she kick too? I get boob smacked and kicked in the face when he is squirmy. zengal- poor LO. We just got over our colds. Isaac still has a very stuffy nose and I can't find his bulb syringe littleapplemom-LOL peepee fountain!
LO slept from 8:30-11:10 and then did not go back to sleep for more than ten minutes in a row until 3:30, he slept til 4:30 and was up again. I finally made my H get up with him at that point so I could get an hour and a half of sleep before getting up for work at 6:00. I'm not sure what his issue was he would fall asleep and then start whimpering/crying within 10 minutes. It didn't matter if I held him, brought him to bed with me or laid him in his bed all the same reaction. I'm wondering if his belly was giving him trouble because he was thrashing around quite a bit.
I don't even drink coffee (we do not even own a coffee pot) and my first thought this morning was "man I could use some coffee". He is now sleeping peacefully beside me while I work.
Thank goodness today is my Friday. I do not plan on being a super productive employee today
I saw the clock every. two. hours. last night. What on earth? I'm also super excited to go pay the dealership a thousand dollars for routine maintenance today. NOT. (We knew this was coming and have budgeted accordingly, but it still stinks.)

I cannot believe how many teeth Isaac has coming in at once. He has been grinding them and it is so loud. My friend had her first baby yesterday. She was 10lbs! So adorable but it almost makes me miss labor. LOL! I must be crazy....
@kaimee07 it's always the night right after its washed that they pee. They're like cats and a fresh litter box. Enjoy the family trip!
kfaye good thoughts! Hopefully everything is just fine.
songbirdsinging55 just never know which night were getting sleep and which night is party night. An invitation would be nice
spikesmom oh man! Teeth? Did he fart at all? Sometimes when Liam is squirmy and restless he will constantly move around, finally a fart or seven come out and then he's okay.
kfaye I'm hopeful for your appointment today! kaimee27 Hugs for missing lo! songbirdsinging55 Boobsmacked!! That's so funny- it happens here all the time too. Girrrl I do not know how you work your schedule spikesmom. You're like Wonder Woman over there!
songbirdsinging55 I have to say sometimes I think you must have given birth to a one-year-old! He's been talking and got a mouthful of teeth and just seems so mature! Maybe that's why you want labor again...

zengal- it is so crazy! I seriously think about this all of the time. I swear the pediatrician thought we were crazy until he said "love you". We were watching a kids show a few days ago where yellow was the color of the day and he freaking said it!! It is almost scary how quick he is picking these up. He is however having trouble rolling over. He scoots backwards but can't roll over.
spikesmom DD did that exact same thing- the waking up after 10 minutes crying. For her, it was because of teething pain. She still doesn't have any teeth, but I figured out a pattern. On the days that she HAS to be gumming everything and uses teethers all day, she falls asleep and goes down just fine but wakes up crying after only a few minutes. So now when she has days like that, I give her Tylenol before bed and we have much better nights.
songbirdsinging55 YES. She likes to kick me in whichever boob she's not eating from. She also writhes around, kicks my arm the armrest of the rocking chair, pops on and off the boob, and pinches/grabs/smacks my face. It is not fun. Some days it seems like it's her goal in life to kick my boobs every chance she gets. When nursing, when being changed, when being played with, when being carried. It seems to happen on days when I have a clogged duct.

I am having trouble figuring out a good pumping schedule for my new work schedule. If anyone has any tips or advice, I would definitely appreciate it. I have 2 half days in the middle of the week. Lately I will just feed him before I leave and then when I get home but it always leaves me with Thursday needing to have him drink mostly formula unless I run home and feed him. Which isn't bad. It's right up the street. Should I add a pump session to my half days?

spikesmom-hope LO gives you a break and you can squeeze a nap in. Also hoping your day goes by quick so you can be home. Can you get a nap in your car? I used to nap on my lunch breaks
I felt like crap when I got home last night. Tired, achy, and cold. I borrowed LO's ear thermometer and found a fever. Took some Tylenol and went to sleep.
H got to spend most of the evening with LO and she even consumed her entire bottle and had an hour's nap/sleep with him.
I wake up this morning and find LO face down in the PNP. I point this out to H and he replies: that's not how I left her!
Increasingly, we've been finding her sleeping on her belly. Still not comfortable with it.
jjh1119, Liam's sleep pattern is rude. Please let him know I think this.
zengal, The nosefrida must pull at my LO's brain or something, because it's full blown SHRIEK OF RAGE every single time. She's getting so squirmy too. Last night I just bulb syringed because I was on my own.
songbirdsinging55, babyyyy fevvverrrrrrrrrr. godspeed to you friend.
kfaye, fingers crossed and stay off google! it's the worst.

gldnbearz- how many months is she now? I have heard that as long as you flip them back over when they do this then it would be ok. Also I hope you feel better. Colds while caring for a LO are the worst.
songbirdsinging55 Sometimes my own baby gives me baby fever. Then I'm like, "WTF self?! You already have a baby! Don't you ever want to sleep again?!"
This exactly! What is wrong with me?!? Then I think I am pretty lucky maybe the next one will be a demon spawn. I hear the first is how they get you...
Re:baby fever. We got it bad lol. Both of us. I hardly track my cycle, we do the whole pull and pray and sometimes I forget to tell him I think I'm fertile other times he forgets his job. So pretty much at any point there may be 2.0 pixie523 yay for crib sleep! I informed Liam, he proceeded to shriek with delight. Who knows if that means he will listen or not.
@littleapplmom boo to having to do full change in the middle of the night. kaimee27 good luck with your upcoming long shifts and I hope you have a fun family vacation! jjh1119 FX that he sleeps well tonight kfaye Good luck at your doctor’s appointment I hope they give you answers, and Dr. Google can be terrible! Stay far far away today. songbirdsinging55 I’m the same about baby fever sometimes, I actually had a dream I was pregnant last night. Ah no thanks I’ll wait a while please and thank you. I agree with others your baby is like genius baby or something! Also, my LO doesn’t like to roll over either, she prefers to sit and I’m trying not to obsess about the rolling thing lol. spikesmom I hope you get some sleep tonight and coffee today, or a nap. You seriously have a crazy schedule and I agree with zengal you are Wonder Woman! wildflower810 I hope LO sleeps better tonight and boo to having to spend so much at the dealership. pixie523 You seriously have the best humor and gifs ever! Thank you for making me laugh this morning. gldnbearz I hope you feel better soon! Wow this is a really long post, but I was trying to tag everyone. LO was up a lot last night too and I think its because she skipped her cat nap that she usually takes around 5:30. The good thing was that she would go right back to sleep when she laid down next to me and nursed. I think I need to work on not nursing her to sleep so much at night, but it’s just soo easy. When I dropped her off at daycare they had little paper flowers that they “painted” and I got to take it home. I seriously love that her DC does this even though I know she really isn’t doing much of it. I might have to post a picture and AW.
