Within the past month LO transitioned from 2 (morning and afternoon) to one midday. She usually naps for 1.5-2 hours which is great because I can actually accomplish some things. She starts to get tired at around 5:00 so bedtime is still early...around 6:30 or 7:00.
We are still at 2 but I think she is slowly transitioning to one nap. She is usually up at 7 with her first nap at 10, second nap at 2. Her first nap is usually one hour and her second is 30 min to an hour.
I'm hoping when she transitions to one nap she will consistently sleep for 2 hours.
She is still doing two naps a day, each is 1 - 1.5 hours long. She is able to do one midday nap and when she does its 2 to 2.5 hours. But she still seems to prefer two naps.
We are still at two naps, if we stick to her schedule and aren't out during nap time.
First nap is about two hours after she wakes up and it's 1.5-2 hours. Then she sleeps for 1-1.5 hours late afternoon.
She's been waking up closer to 8am this week, but going to bed 7:30-8pm. I thought she was ready for bed at 7:15pm tonight and she went right to bed. I think my mom has been wrong with pressuring me to put her to bed closer to 8pm, because she takes longer to fall asleep when she's overtired.
We went to 1 nap about a month ago when DD moved up to the next room in daycare. Occasionally during the weekends she'll still do two, but only if we are in the car for both.
Her 1 nap starts around 12:30/1:00 and she'll go 1.5-2.5 hrs.
M-F he takes one nap at daycare after lunch. It's usually 1.5-2 hours. On the weekends, he usually takes 2 smaller naps (about an hour each) in the morning and afternoons

DD's is in love with an older boy (19 months) at daycare and will only nap when he does. So she's now on his schedule of one nap a day, just after lunch.

We are solidly at 2 naps. She gets up between 730 and 8, first nap is between 10-1030 and lasts until noon usually. Second one is sort of flexible in the afternoon, but on average starts at 2 or 3pm and lasts about 2 hours. She is all over the map for naps at daycare though.
She likes 3 a day, a long one (2 hour) after lunch and two short ones (20-30 minutes) at 10am and 3pm. But she only does that on the weekends. At DC they get the one long one (2 hour)after lunch

We are just starting one nap a day. Before she would take such a long morning nap and then not tired enough for her pm nap but would get tired too early to go to bed. So lately I've been putting her down from about 1 to 3 and its going well

I said other because for the past week or so it's been hit or miss with the 2nd nap. She has been extending her morning nap and shortening or skipping the afternoon one then all together. Today we are having 2 though.
We've been at one nap of 3 or 4 hours since he was 12 months.
How did you do this? Teach me! Lol, I'm lucky if DD will sleep for 1.5 hours. It's rare that she sleeps 2 hours. Once in a blue moon she will go 2.5 hours but it is very rare.
We have transitioned to 1. It's 2-3hrs long! Once in a while he asks for the crib and we let him go in it for a nap. But he doesn't actually nap. He just takes a little rest with his loveys!

Honestly I think it has a lot to do with personality... Both him and his brother are on the same schedule, I think that helped

I didn't want to go down to one nap at first but I've found I really like it. It doesn't interrupt our day as much and easier to plan things. We get up at 7 usually and he's down for his nap at 10/10:30 and it will last 2-2.5 hours. Sometimes he'll take a quick 15 minute nap in the car around 4 and then goes to bed around 8pm.
jtizzay, it throws a wrench on brunch plans on weekends. 11am meeting up with friends is a goner! We have to do 930-10am and be sure to be home by 1230. I liked two naps. But im getting used to it now. #shallowbabycaps
