eddiegotsole, you mentioned Brown Bear, Brown Bear and Ten Apples up on Top in that other thread. Love those. Got me thinking about other great ones.
I'm huge fan of the Critter series but my fav is I Was So Mad. LO loves to say "I was just so mad!"
The Day the Crayons quit is amazing! - I have no idea way but I laugh every time at the end of Beige Crayon's letter. "your friend - Beige Crayon." Lol!
Skippyjon Jones is another fav of mine. Especially "Lost in Spice" -"that's not a spacesuit its a spice suit dude!"
As a kid I must have read Goodnight Little Bear or requested it about a bijillion times. It's in Richard Scary's bedtime book, but written by his wife Patricia.
What do you enjoy reading to your kids?, what do love, what did you like as a kid? Lurkers feel free to reminisce with us if you'd like. We are consistently building our kiddo library and I'd appreciate the recs.

Those are some great book options tjr42px, I'm going to check them out! The latest book is Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, which I borrowed from a friend while we were out! Gray loves it! Tried a Lego Book prior to this one and DS wasn't feeling it, but Chicka Chicka had his attention all the way! My mom is supposed to be sending us a special version of The Very Hungry Caterpillar, so I'm also excited about that one! Gray already has a Very Hungry Caterpillar toy, so it will be nice to have that association!
The Very Hungry Caterpillar is great! DS1 "reads" it often. He gets near the end and always says "the caterpillar ate a leaf and then he ate a rock. Then he went to sleep in his cocoon." Lol.
I have made it my personal mission to read Dr. Seuss books as quickly as possible. DS thinks it's hilarious when I trip up on words. The Tweetle Beetle Battle is my forte!

My favourite bedtime story from childhood is Goodnight Moon. My parents joked that they shouldn't have read it to me so often because I took it too much to heart and would always say goodnight to everything to delay going to sleep.

My niece does that! It's so cute as the uncle, but a goodnight marathon every night probably does get to be a bit much.
Goodnight Moon is great. We also have a copy of Goodnight Boston. Which DS1 affectionately calls Goodnight Bostom.

I just got another Dr. Seuss Book "There's a Wocket in my Pocket" Not sure if DS likes it yet, he may still be stuck on "10 apples up on top" and I know he enjoys the familiarity and colorful pictures
DS got Dragons Love Tacos and A Perfectly Messed-Up Story for his birthday and loves them both. We had a taco party at his request for dinner one night (no spicy tacos cuz you know, Dragons can't handle spicy tacos or they breathe fire) and he laughs hysterically at every page of A Perfectly Messed-Up Story.
Haven't read Wocket in My Pocket. I'll have to pick it up from the library. I love a good Seuss book. I think my fav is the Lor Ax. Littleman doesn't quite have the attention span for it yet though.
My oldest loved the llama llama books, Dr. Seuss, and once he was about three I began reading bigger series to him. He loved Chronicles of Narnia series.
Babygirl is 6 months so I read similar to what I did with him.
