Hate: There's too many doctors/dentists appointments you have to go to and it seems to get worse and worse the older you get.
Love: (Besides having LO) No one telling me what I can and cannot do. No rules about what time to be home by, who I can hang out with, what chores I have to do (even though I do a ton of them now, it's different), etc.
Hate: Having to be the responsible one and all the stress that comes with that. Taking care of myself was no biggie, but being responsible for another person is scary. Having to work and pay the bills...so many bills.
Love: The confidence that comes with maturity, not feeling insecure and dependent. Getting to do whatever the hell I want (I wanted to have DD, so even though she limits some of my choices, I still consider it whatever I want because I chose to be a parent). I no longer worry or care what people think of me, I am respected both professionally and personally. That is something you can never have as a kid. Having my own money, SO much money....wait, I spent it all on taxes and bills. At least there is enough left over to buy myself a coffee.
Hate: bills and following up on why the internet bill went up or why there is a different charge on our cell bill.....so much wasted time on the phone with morons.
Love: Independence and being my own person. Love makeup, hair and nails...love

Hate: having no friends who I relate to anymore. My high school friends live in big cities and haven't seemed to settle down, I've lost touch with college friends and I've only met one person I've really clicked with since college and she works opposite hours.
Love: having my own family and home. Feeling comfortable in my own skin. No putting up with other people's sh*t.

I had this convo with DH last night. lOL
I love having the freedom to do what I want, but I hate the responsibility. We were working on our will when we had that conversation. Almost done with it.

We are setting up out living will/life insurance when I go back to work in July--- I feel like that's definitely on the "annoying adult things" list!

I hate having to worry about budgeting, bills, etc.
I LOVE being married, being a mom... and this might just be the 9 months pregnant woman in me speaking, but I freaking love going to the store and buying WHATEVER junk food I want. Haha.
