Yahoo News never disappoints with their useless findings. This just in, What Women Really Think of the Man Bun. I know this has come up a few times on UO and FFFC, so I thought it would be fun to see how GKU compares to the study in the article

Poor Leo. He can't win an Oscar or pull off the man bun. At least he has a bevy of super models to lick his wounds.

I am not sure I have ever seen a man bun in person (in Michigan) but we made the top 10. There is no question that we would make the top 10 for beards!

@ismellbooks I don't know who the hot one is but that makes a good case for the man bun. I think his beard helped though. Also poor Leo. Just no. I still love him though.

I definitely think it depends on the person/type of man bun. I don't really like the ones at the nape of the neck. The ones on top of the head tend to look better IMO.

Also, I think you have to be gifted with generally great genetics to pull of the man bun. Models and actors are in the spotlight for a reason and can get away with it because they are attractive in other ways, too. They also have a fashion that matches.

YES. I think (in general) guys need a certain build and a certain level of facial hair scruffiness to make the man bun work well.

Yes. I love beards and man buns on other guys. As much as DH wish he could, he absolutely cannot pull off facial hair or long hair.

Ditto, jags8. I've always had a dislike for men with hair longer than mine, and since mine is short now I do not find man buns attractive AT ALL. Thank goodness my husband thinks they are they dumbest things and would never try it!

With anything, it obviously depends on if the guy wears it well but generally I like them
