1. 6/9 2. How are you feeling? Symptoms? 3. Furbabies are good. My parents will be staying at our house while we are in the hospital. We are also only 10 mins away so it is not a hassle for someone to let them outside to potty. 4. Plan is to get this baby out. I will be induced at 39 weeks. Other than that, we will see how things go. 5. Only DH will be in delivery. Parents and in-laws will probably camp out in the waiting area. 6. I am eating pizza tonight! 7. 90%. It is hard to concentrate on anything else. 8. Current Fav: Vampire Diaries or PLL. I can't get enough.
1. May 28 2. My whole pelvic region hurts today and I had a contraction that came with back pain today. It actually hurt. But it was only one so I'm not worried yet. 3. Fur babies are taking it all in stride (except for the ducking cat. She's been peeing in corners again...) When I tell DD that baby comes home next week her response is "No. No like baby." The dog is going to be kennelled and my mom is staying at our house to watch DD and the cat. 4. Birth plan: repeat c-section 5. DH is my support person in the operating room. I'm only allowed one. All others will be contacted once we've had time to recovery and bond. 6. I'm currently wearing a bucket as a hat as per DD. It's an Easter bucket. She's actually left the room but I'm too lazy to take it off. 7. 50% . DD takes up a lot of the time. 8. I don't really have one.
I went on maternity leave this monday the 18th due to I was so exhausted and in a lot of pain at work. I'm finding this pregnancy physically WAY harder then my first. The constant pain and heaviness i feel and pressure when walking. Now that I'm on leave I'm feeling a mix of anticipation/excitement and also feeling kind of aimless since I don't have a daily routine anymore. I'm one of those people who prefers to work in the office since it gives my day structure whereas DH works from home as a writer and he would go nuts working in an office. He took an office job last year as a writer for a sports website and did not last more then 6 months because he couldn't deal with the 9-5 workday. I secretly love this about him because it means that he is always home when i get home from work to help care for DS and he rarely misses dinners with us.
3. STM and/or moms of fur babies, how are they doing? Do you think they are ready to meet baby soon? Do you have arrangements set up for someone to watch them when you go to the hospital / birth center?
For anyone that follows our weekend ticker change, one of our fur babies our little terrier mix Major had to have surgery on her belly last week (f*ing evil foxtail found in her belly). I'm so relieved that she is doing amazing. She is such a trooper. She just has to take meds and wear the cone for 1 more week. I was really worried that I would go into labor during her surgery and we would have no one to take care of her. I'm not worried about our pups meeting the new baby since they already get along so well with DS. They LOVE him and if I let them they would prefer to sleep in his bed and cuddle every night.
For DS meeting the new baby I hope that goes well. He is only 2 so there is only so much we can let him know about a baby coming that he will comprehend. We did put a little doll in the rock n play and covered the doll with the blanket and he picked it up and threw everything on the floor! But guessing he would not do that with an actual baby and he will know the difference!
4. Do you have a birth plan, formal or informal? Want to share? Planning on doing most of the labor at home where I can move around, walk the stairs in our house up and down and be comfortable then go to hospital for epidural. Want to avoid induction unless under doctor recommendation for medical reasons or me being over 1 week past due. Hope DS is not there at home when I'm laboring since I don't want him to see me in pain.
5. Is SO going to be with you during your entire stay at the hospital? Is anyone else (other than SO, nurses, OB/MW, doula, etc.) going to be in the delivery room with you? Anyone planning to come visit or stay with you immediately before/after babies arrival?
DH will be there during the delivery. I'm not sure if I need him to stay the night I might rather he be home w/ DS since we are so close to the hospital. Planning on talking to the doctor about how many people will be in the delivery room. Last time i did not and i seriously remember there being 10 people in there and I have no idea who they were (students? so many nurses?) and i had a routine birth. I ended up wearing a cold washcloth over my eyes because i did not want to look at all the people but was busy pushing and didn't think of screaming 'EVERYONE GET THE F OUT OF HERE' even though that is exactly what i was thinking at the time.
6. Random thoughts? Nope
7. OK be honest. What percentage of your day is spent obsessing over the new baby to come?
my thoughts per day break down to: 30%baby is coming baby is coming! 30%what should i eat right now? 30% ugh pain pain pain. do i need to pee? 10% DS and DH sadly not a lot of time left in my brain for them right now
8. Your favorite TV show Embarrassed to say i have been really into watching Married at First Sight! It's such a trainwreck. DH and i watch a lot of home shows for tips since we just bought a house we are going to remodel and rent out in our neighborhood.
1. EDD 06/06 2. How are you feeling? Symptoms? My body hurts today. I feel huge and swollen and tired. 3. STM and/or moms of fur babies, how are they doing? Do you think they are ready to meet baby soon? Do you have arrangements set up for someone to watch them when you go to the hospital / birth center? My sister will be taking care of DD, and if need be, then the pup, too. I'd prefer that the pup goes to boarding, but not sure if that will happen. 4. Do you have a birth plan, formal or informal? Want to share? I have a birth plan, just the same document as was approved/used by our providers with DD (with the additional circumcision language). I don't think we'll need it because we're at the birth center, but a copy is in the bag anyway. 5. Is SO going to be with you during your entire stay at the hospital? Is anyone else (other than SO, nurses, OB/MW, doula, etc.) going to be in the delivery room with you? Anyone planning to come visit or stay with you immediately before/after babies arrival? DH will stay with me/us the entire time, assuming an uncomplicated vaginal delivery in the birth center. If things get complicated and we have to be admitted, then we'll have to figure things out re: DD. I don't want her to be left alone (with my sister) for much longer than a few hours, and certainly not overnight. Sister and DD are welcomed during delivery, if DD can handle it well. Mom is on stand by for flight immediately post-baby-arrival. 6. Random thoughts? I'd like a nap. 7. OK be honest. What percentage of your day is spent obsessing over the new baby to come? Our friends had their baby on Monday so now, I'm feeling very Veruca Salt about waiting for our baby boy to arrive. Which is very unlike me! 8. Your favorite TV show Of all time? Friends. Currently? I haven't kept up with any particular series since 2012! lol
1. 6/12 2. I'm feeling ok. Lots of BH and cramping and the skin on my belly feels really tight sometimes. 3. I have no idea how the pups are going to handle it. Tucker met a newborn today and really wanted to "help" when he heard baby noises. We'll see how he does on home turf. This reminds me that I need to talk to DH and family about plans for them. 4. Very informal birth plan - hoping to go natural with as little intervention as possible, but very open to whatever needs to be done to keep us both safe. 5. We are planning for DH to stay the whole time. I've mentioned before that I've been a total stage 5 clinger lately and I think I'd be upset if he left. We won't be having anyone else in the delivery room, but I'm open to our parents and my sister being in the waiting room. No visitors staying with us. My mom lives nearby so we do have some family that will be staying with her to visit us, but they said they'll wait until we're ready before they come. 6. Just so ready for this LO to be here. 7. I would say most of the day since I'm home now. I feel like I have a ton I still need to get ready, but I just have NO energy! So it's a cycle of feeling guilty and then taking a nap to avoid all that needs to be done. 8. Depends on my mood - I like HIMYM, Law & Order, NCIS, Say Yes to the Dress
When I tell DD that baby comes home next week her response is "No. No like baby."
I'm currently wearing a bucket as a hat as per DD. It's an Easter bucket. She's actually left the room but I'm too lazy to take it off.
the other night DS woke up and said 'mommy, there is a baby in the wall' i have no idea where he gets this stuff. He also just made me wear the plastic dog cone on my head as a hat

1. EDD6/2 2. How are you feeling? Symptoms? Just crampy and tired. 3. STM and/or moms of fur babies, how are they doing? Do you think they are ready to meet baby soon? Do you have arrangements set up for someone to watch them when you go to the hospital / birth center? LBB is super dooper excited to meet the baby. The dog? Just anxious. My mom is coming down to watch both of them while I'm in the hospital. 4. Do you have a birth plan, formal or informal? Want to share? My ideal birthplan is not realize I'm in labor until I show up at the hospital 8 cm dilated, have them whisk me to a room where I will be 10cm and ready to push. I'll push one time and the baby will slide out, at which point DH will announce the sex.
In reality, my birthplan is really just to hopefully avoid another induction, avoid a c-section, and have DH announce the sex.
5. Is SO going to be with you during your entire stay at the hospital? Is anyone else (other than SO, nurses, OB/MW, doula, etc.) going to be in the delivery room with you? Anyone planning to come visit or stay with you immediately before/after babies arrival? It will depend on the process. If it's as long as my induction, he might go home to be with LBB so we're not leaving him alone for quite as long. If it's quick, he'll stay with me the whole time. He'll be the only non-medical personnel with me in the delivery room. My mom will vacate once we get home, but my MIL is coming to stay with us, which is a nightmare.
6. Random thoughts? I am so so so happy I have made it till today. I am officially done with all the work that I personally have to do. If baby comes now, my boss can handle anything that's left.
7. OK be honest. What percentage of your day is spent obsessing over the new baby to come? Maybe an hour? I don't really have much more time than that.
8. Your favorite TV show Currently I'm loving Forever, so I'm pretty bummed it was cancelled.

1. EDD Induction scheduled for June 1 due to GD
2. How are you feeling? Symptoms? Good, doctor started my insane nesting by telling me I could go early. Other than that, baby boy has taken a liking to jamming his foot out of my side. Freaky!
3. STM and/or moms of fur babies, how are they doing? Do you think they are ready to meet baby soon? Do you have arrangements set up for someone to watch them when you go to the hospital / birth center? If I make it to induction day my parents will take the dogs and then bring them back the day I come home from the hospital so they are home first. I think they sense something but have no idea what is coming, though I think they will adjust and love him!
4. Do you have a birth plan, formal or informal? Want to share? Main plan - both of us healthy, then likely an epidural. I would like delayed cord clamping and skin to skin if possible.
5. Is SO going to be with you during your entire stay at the hospital? Is anyone else (other than SO, nurses, OB/MW, doula, etc.) going to be in the delivery room with you? Anyone planning to come visit or stay with you immediately before/after babies arrival? Just my husband and then we will allow people to visit in the hospital if I feel up to it.
6. Random thoughts? I'm petrified about caring for him when he is born. Like irrationally worried about it.
7. OK be honest. What percentage of your day is spent obsessing over the new baby to come? Hmmm, if you include all my crazy nesting to eliminate my to-do list then probably 85% with the other 15% devoted to reality television.
8. Your favorite TV show The entire channel of Bravo.
2. How are you feeling? Symptoms? Sleeping is uncomfortable, pelvic pain and pressure, on and off hip problems, on and off heartburn, though it seems to have slowed down as baby keeps getting lower. Feet/ankles starting to swell a bit
3. STM and/or moms of fur babies, how are they doing? Do you think they are ready to meet baby soon? Do you have arrangements set up for someone to watch them when you go to the hospital / birth centre? I don't know if DS truly gets what the end result is here, but he likes my belly, and lately when we ask if he's excited to be a big brother he makes his excited face and it's pretty cute. My parents will be taking care of him while we are in the hospital.
4. Do you have a birth plan, formal or informal? Want to share? Make it to the hospital, lol! See how it goes from there. A small part of me wants to go med free again, I think a bigger part of me wants an epi this time.
5. Is SO going to be with you during your entire stay at the hospital? Is anyone else (other than SO, nurses, OB/MW, doula, etc.) going to be in the delivery room with you? Anyone planning to come visit or stay with you immediately before/after babies arrival? With a normal delivery/discharge date, he will stay with me the whole time. We live an hour from the hospital so my parents will just be keeping DS and coming into the city whenever they can to visit, and when we get discharged so the 4 of us can all drive home together
6. Random thoughts? It's crazy that I'm at the point of counting down instead of up! Also, I was just outside and my belly skin is so stretched and thin I just burned it through my clothes..ugh. Way to add to the discomfort. DS and H are still playing outside while I try to give it a cool down break.
7. OK be honest. What percentage of your day is spent obsessing over the new baby to come? Not a lot, actually. Excited, and the days H is in another town for meetings I get more nervous about us both getting to the city and our DS plan, but so far not "obsessing". Getting so exhausting/hard keeping up with a LO though so mostly excited to start getting my body back to my own, haha. But now that I've made it this far I'm ok with pitting in a little bit longer. If I would have answered this question this morning it would have been different, was definitely having a sore/over it morning! ETA: long story short-I think about the discomfort more than the end result. I'm still not totally sure if that part has hit me yet ha!
8. Your favorite TV show Currently, Big Brother Canada, haha.

1. EDD: 6/5 2. How are you feeling? Symptoms? I'm feeling pretty good today! I'm definitely really tired some days, but overall I can't complain for being this pregnant. 3. STM and/or moms of fur babies, how are they doing? Do you think they are ready to meet baby soon? Do you have arrangements set up for someone to watch them when you go to the hospital / birth centre? My daughter really has no concept of what's going on, she's too young. The dog probably won't be phased at all, he's used to the house being run by a toddler! Our plans for their care depend entirely on when this baby comes... my mom is out of town for the first 2 weeks of June and she was my original plan, so I guess it will probably end up being my in-laws. 4. Do you have a birth plan, formal or informal? Want to share? Not really... I'm trying for a VBAC so that is my main goal. I realize that it might not happen so I'm open to all possibilities this time. 5. Is SO going to be with you during your entire stay at the hospital? Is anyone else (other than SO, nurses, OB/MW, doula, etc.) going to be in the delivery room with you? Anyone planning to come visit or stay with you immediately before/after babies arrival? He's going to stay the entire time, with the exception of maybe going home to shower or grab food. 6. Random thoughts? I can't fathom that my EDD is only 2 weeks away. 7. OK be honest. What percentage of your day is spent obsessing over the new baby to come? Honestly, about 40%. I've been keeping pretty busy and DD is a great distraction. 8. Your favorite TV show I don't have one particular favourite, although I'm currently obsessed with Big Brother Canada....
That's so cute that DS has that reaction! So precious! DS has touched my belly a few times but he always says 'what is that?' and he doesn't get their is a baby sister in their. But he does laugh at the size of my belly!

My belly has also become a new terrain/mountain to drive his toy trucks over, haha!
***One week to go until he is in my arms, yay! ***Le Sigh*** Praying for a happy, healthy baby and safe delivery.
2. How are you feeling? I am okay, I am having some right hip pains.
Symptoms? BH contractions non stop for the past three days now.
3. STM how are they doing? He is 11 months, so he does not understand at all what is about to happen. My SS claims to be excited.
Do you think they are ready to meet baby soon? Yes.
Do you have arrangements set up for someone to watch them when you go to the hospital / birth center? DH claims to have care for them, but he will be with them at night if everything is okay with baby and I.
4. Do you have a birth plan, formal or informal? Having an RCS.
5. Is SO going to be with you during your entire stay at the hospital? Not the plan, I wnat my children to have interaction with at least one of us at night. Plus I do not really trust anyone with my infant. He cannot tell us if something happened. All of my military friends have PCSd and his friend wife will be watching our child and possibly both kids. My oldest is in daycare.
Anyone planning to come visit or stay with you immediately before/after babies arrival? My kids will visit everyday with DH and maybe a few of darling husband friends and wives.
6. Random thoughts? I am just ready to see him to be totally honest!
7. OK be honest. What percentage of your day is spent obsessing over the new baby to come? Lately, i'd say 45%. Everything really has been about me (do I have everything I want, should I buy another nursing bra to be more comfortable and feel supported without being constricted, etc.).
8. Your favorite TV shows: I am obsessed with Downton Abbey,Call the Midwife, Scandal, Property Brothers (& other home improvement shows).
I'm feeling anxious, excited and nervous. BH contractions have increased, cramps, pelvic pressure, heartburn- it's all apart of the final countdown.
FTM, but mommy to a cat. I fear she will have a hard time adjusting to not being the center of attention. She also doesn't like loud noises, so this should be interesting haha.
No birth plan- just deliver a healthy baby girl with an epidural
As some one else put it, I've been a stage five clinger with DH so he will be with me the entire time. My mom is staying with us right now and for a couple of weeks after baby is born, so she will also be I'm the delivery room. We live far away from family, so no other visitors.
I'm over the anxiety of pregnancy. I can't wait to be holding my baby girl.
90% of my day is purely focused on baby
The Office (tear-I miss it), Homeland, Bravo shows, Game of Thrones
@poppyc8 I LOVE Married at First Sight. I preferred the couples that were on last season, but the show fascinates me. I also watch Newlyweds (I think on Bravo); they just had the season finale last week.
I didn't see the first season. Do you think all the couples will stay married? It trips me out that they act surprised when they have communication problems and aren't having that much sex yet when their entire relationship has been on camera. There is nothing normal about that, but then they keep wondering why they have so many issues. Um maybe because you have only known each other for 4 weeks!! Full on train wreck.
June 2, but just found out they set up my induction for May 29th! 2. How are you feeling? Symptoms?
Pretty good, was worried about baby girls movement today but think things are okay just keeping an eye on it. Just had an NST yesterday and she passed with flying colors. 3. STM and/or moms of fur babies, how are they doing? Do you think they are ready to meet baby soon? Do you have arrangements set up for someone to watch them when you go to the hospital / birth center?
We have one kitty, he's wild so I'm a little terrified of him being around baby. Family will take care of him while we are at the hospital. 4. Do you have a birth plan, formal or informal? Want to share?
I did, but after finding out I have mild preeclampsia, and they scheduled me to be induced, that pretty much knocked out half of what was on my birth plan so I have just decided to try to let go, go with the flow and just do whatever is best for me and baby. I still plan to try to go without the epi though. 5. Is SO going to be with you during your entire stay at the hospital? Is anyone else (other than SO, nurses, OB/MW, doula, etc.) going to be in the delivery room with you? Anyone planning to come visit or stay with you immediately before/after babies arrival?
Yes H will stay at the hospital with me and I think my mom will be there a majority of the time too. We are actually living with my mom as we are in the process of getting our house ready to sell and buy a new house and we didn't want to have to deal with all that with a new baby in the home. So my mom, who we are extremely close with, will be around to help out after baby girl arrives.
6. Random thoughts?
7. OK be honest. What percentage of your day is spent obsessing over the new baby to come?
Pretty much 100% of the time I'm awake. I'm either thinking about it, working on stuff to get ready for her, or trying to complete work so it is done before she arrives!
8. Your favorite TV show
My favorite show ever is One Tree Hill. Favorite current show is probably Arrow.. or Scandal.
budders. I agree about Davina. I think they are both so intense together like they are almost too similar. I also get a gay vibe from Sean.
I'm most tripped out by Jaclyn. To go from having no interest/repulsion to Ryan day 1 and then 4 weeks later to be into him and pissed that he isn't into her anymore?

1. 6/9 2. I'm feeling okay. Lots of back pain today from having to stand for a 2-3 hours, then I got home and had an onslaught of BH. They're slowing down now, but DH and I were worried for a while that we might be having this kid before my thesis defense on Friday. FX baby stays put for a couple more days! (really, longer is better of course, but I *really* need to make it to Friday afternoon, school-wise) 3. The furbabies (cats) suddenly got a lot cuddlier with me over the last 24 hours. Not sure what that's about, but I don't think they're going to like having a kiddo around very much... 4. Our birth plan is pretty informal. The hospital has a checklist with all the usual requests. We just filled that out, and it's nice that they can read and understand it quickly because they see so many of them. 5. DH will be there, aside from a possible trip or two home to shower and change after the birth. Not expecting anyone else. 6. I had a chocolate chip bagel with marshmallow fluff tonight for dessert. It was pretty yummy. 7. ehhh, maybe 40%? 8. OITNB. New season soon!!
1. EDD 2. How are you feeling? Symptoms? 3. STM and/or moms of fur babies, how are they doing? Do you think they are ready to meet baby soon? ***new moms questions***
1.How old is baby? 2.How are you feeling? Symptoms? 3.STM and/or moms of fur babies, how are they doing? are they adapting ok to the new baby? 4.Are you getting enough support for you and the new baby at home? or if you are in the hospital are you happy with the care so far? 5.Random advice to any of us still expecting? 6.Random thoughts? 7.Your favorite TV show
1. June 1st 2. Feeling like a house. But got told today I still have a waist (from behind) and I look "tiny." I could have kissed them. Also, pulling weeds from a squat position makes me feel like baby is going to fall out. 3. Kids (6 yo DD and 4 yo DS) are stoked, especially DD. The dog (15, deaf, and leaks urine constantly....) is used to kids. Parents or IL's will watch kids wherever we drop them off, or come here. 4. I was thinking of writing a nice note, along the lines of "You all rock, and I wouldn't want your job for anything in the world. I'm in this for a live baby..." So no, nothing formal. 5. Not decided yet. He'll probably stay with me. Not planning on having my mom there for birth, but not opposed to it. She was there for DD's birth, and is quite helpful. No plans for live-in/stay the night help, but they're close by. 6. Having a hard time distinguishing between BH and baby movement. It all fucking hurts. 7. Oh, maybe 40%? I have a lot to do before then, shit. And 11 days til EDD! 8. We don't watch tv, and netflix only arrives a couple times a week. But we're working thru Downton Abbey, season 3...
How are you feeling? Symptoms? I've been having some blood-tinged discharge again but as it's not excessive bleeding or more than what my doctor told me would be cause for concern I've held off on phoning anyone as baby is moving fine and it only lasted a day, maybe it was my plug.. I'm having trouble sleeping. My mind is in overdrive.. I feel huge, nothing fits me.. I bought a maternity dress for this shing ding I have to go to on Sunday but I don't know how I look in it . It's a swing dress. I've been having a crampy tummy & lower back all night.. I can't sleep it's 4AM. It's coming and going I don't know if I need to poop or if I should be concerned. I had some aches in my back & tummy there that I had to kind of breathe through.. My bump went really hard. Baby is now kicking up a storm, also the pressure down there when I walk.. Ooh it's strange.
Fur babies? SO's parents have a dog & a cat. Both of whom I adore. I see them often & im hoping they like my LO, the dog may have a hard time adjusting as she's used to us being a threesome! Now there will be four of us in the pack!
Do you have a birth plan, formal or informal? Want to share? Mine's is pretty laid back & I'm not too fussed on it having to be changed. The only things I really would like are some dimmed lighting.. quiet (if possible) & to labour in the pool for a little while.
Is SO going to be with you during your entire stay at the hospital? Is anyone else (other than SO, nurses, OB/MW, doula, etc.) going to be in the delivery room with you? Anyone planning to come visit or stay with you immediately before/after babies arrival? I don't know if he is allowed to stay overnight if me if I am kept in more than 24hrs . Partners get extended visits though.. I'm hoping not to be in hospital long. No one else in the room apart from professionals & SO. No one is staying with us after the birth but our families will visit & we will possibly visit them also.
Random thoughts? I'm one tired but happy mama-to-be.. SO has proposed essentially. We were shopping & he pulled me over to a jewellery store (this puzzled me greatly) I expected him to want to look at bracelets or necklaces as our anniversary is coming up on 06/02.. But he stopped at rings & then proceeded to tell me that he has been looking at rings for some time but didn't know what to get me and stated that he would feel better if I gave my opinion on some of the rings he had been looking at on their website. He wanted to do it without me knowing but was really stuck & running out of time. I think I stared at him open mouthed during all of this. He has picked this stunning rose gold ring that is unusual and simple but elegant.. It has this amazing twist detail with diamonds down the sides. It's not too big or over the top which suits me as I only have small fingers. They only had the silver variant of the ring in the store but they have ordered the rose gold one in for me & I'll have to get it resized too. I'm still in shock as this was completely unexpected. I'm unsure if he's still going to do the whole proposal thing. I think he might on our anniversary. He's taking me to the restaurant that we had our first date & then I think we are off to a hotel.. I'm not sure, his little sister let slip that he was looking at hotels after I told her I'd bought his gift.. Which is a robot sculpture he had been looking at.. Doesn't really compare.. I'm just in awe and disbelief. I can't sleep at the moment for thinking about seeing my ring on Friday when it gets delivered to the store but it won't officially be mines until 06/02. I asked SO how long he had been planning this. He said awhile, he felt as it was 2015 he could consult me on the ring choice. It's still an amazing suprise and unexpected as I hadn't considered this would happen for some time.
OK be honest. What percentage of your day is spent obsessing over the new baby to come? 99.9% of my daily thoughts are consumed by LO. I'm so excited and nervous. I'm literally counting down the days now. 2 weeks left! Oh boy!
Your favorite TV show I can't think of one at the moment. Too busy for TV!
sorry for the long ass post. I've been absent from here a few days I have a lot to say.
I just wish I wasn't so huge so that I could enjoy 06/02 properly. To be honest the thought of a hotel 2 days before my due date scares me.. It's also my birthday 06/06 so I think this is a combined anniversary/birthday gift . I'm beyond excited
cnumbers. Congrats!!!! So excited for you. my DH did somewhat similar where we looked for rings together and then he proposed I think 2-3 months later. I remember the excited anticipation of knowing it was happening and then wondering when it will happen!
Sorry about the insomnia. I'm in the same boat. Not sure if it's just hormonal or what but I'm usually laying there at 1 or 2am wishing I was cozy and asleep.
1. EDD: 06/19 but my RCS is looking to be on 06/12
2. How are you feeling? Symptoms?: The usual. I'm miserable.
3. STM and/or moms of fur babies, how are they doing? Do you think they are ready to meet baby soon? Do you have arrangements set up for someone to watch them when you go to the hospital / birth center?: DS tells me every day, "I really want my sister." He talks about her all the time & I think he's going to be a great big brother! We have some friends & Family lined up to watch him but they don't have set days yet.
4. Do you have a birth plan, formal or informal? Want to share?: Right now it's not typed up or anything but I do have a few requests & some things I know I definitely want. Planning on discussing all of this when I have a date set & know exactly which Dr will be delivering her.
5. Is SO going to be with you during your entire stay at the hospital? Is anyone else (other than SO, nurses, OB/MW, doula, etc.) going to be in the delivery room with you? Anyone planning to come visit or stay with you immediately before/after babies arrival?: DH will be there all day & the first night. Then he'll only be there during the day & he'll be home with DS at night (before dinner). No one will be in the OR with me but DH. My mom is supposed to help once we go home but she lives close so she won't be staying with us.
6. Random thoughts?: Not at the moment.
7. OK be honest. What percentage of your day is spent obsessing over the new baby to come?: Too high of a percent.
8. Your favorite TV show?: I have too many. I love trashy reality TV.
cnumbers. Congrats!!!! So excited for you. my DH did somewhat similar where we looked for rings together and then he proposed I think 2-3 months later. I remember the excited anticipation of knowing it was happening and then wondering when it will happen!

I reassured him that he wasn't to feel disappointed about getting me to help him pick the ring as it was still a shock & it is 2015, times have moved on and everything is a little more laid back now.
I just wish I could switch my brain off but it's consumed by thoughts, also my achy breaky back isn't helping. I think it's just gas but man it's uncomfortable. It's now 5AM and I know I'm not looking my best tomorrow. Hello dark circles + eye bags. Let's see if SO still wants to marry me then

1. EDD: June 10
2. How are you feeling? Symptoms? Sore, backaches, a lot of BH, nausea, acid/heartburn.
3. STM: My 8yo DD is so excited, my 3yo DS doesn't want a baby. My mom lives close by and will watch the kids when the time comes.
4. Birth plan: nothing official the birth center mainly just wants to know what I am opposed to. I feel like I need to make a just in case birth plan for the Hospital if we have to go there for any reason. Like a gentle c-section if one is necessary. Or if an induction is needed starting with a small dose of pitocin and just use enough to get things going, then turn it down/off. Cord clamping because it's different at the hospital than it is at the birth center.
5. Is SO going to be with you during your entire stay at the hospital? It's only 8 hours at the birth center so yes. At the hospital it's a 24hr stay at least and yes hubby would stay for that. If I had to stay for more than that then he would probably go home and watch the kiddos.
Is anyone else (other than SO, nurses, OB/MW, doula, etc.) going to be in the delivery room with you? SO and Doula (my mom has been at my other births but hasn't been as supportive this time so I don't know if I want her there)
Anyone planning to come visit or stay with you immediately before/after babies arrival? No!!!
6. Random thoughts? I am starting to wonder if this was really a good idea... 3 kids is a lot. I had this same worry when we were going from 1 to 2 so I know it will be okay.
7. OK be honest. What percentage of your day is spent obsessing over the new baby to come? 25% maybe it's hard with the other kiddos at home they keep my mind busy.
8. Your favorite TV show: I honestly can't say that I have a favorite. I like greys anatomy but could easily stop watching it at this point.
1- 6/5 2- feeling exhausted, and really ready to meet my little man! 3- this is a stressful topic for me, since I am a third time mom.. My mom wants to be there again with this baby during delivery, but I don't have anyone else to watch my two kids. Last time, we had a friend watch our son, but that friend doesn't feel comfortable watching both kids this time because my daughter has breath holding spells and can pass out... So I'm concerned about that. But both my kids are very excited! 4- no plan! Learned my lesson to not have one, just ends up in the trash 5- my SO will be there the whole Time, but after we get home it will just be our family of 5! 6- insomnia sucks 7- ummm, about 110% 8- once upon a time!
