Drive by posting right now. Just wanted to give you all an update. I ended up getting an abscess on my breast, on my areola, that got very infected. I won't go into the gross details but I'm finally feeling better. Hope all is well with everyone!!
Hey ladies, trying to catch up here! Had my biopsy today and it pretty much sucked, but at least it's over with. Supposed to get results in 3 days but with Mon being a holiday it might be tues.
Lo has been crying on and off all day and last night too. She's had a low fever and I stuffy nose so I'm thinking she's sick. Really hard to deal with crying baby while hurting myself! Sorry 4 being such a Debbie downer lately, I'm hoping we will all feel better soon!
Okay. LO has back-scooted her way halfway across the room. I am terrified at the thought of her being mobile. TERRIFIED! I need to babyproof ALL THE THINGS!

Yeah, so apparently he was an adult with Autism. Something triggered him and he went into an episode, got his hands on a bottle of phenol, drank some and threw the bottle spilling it everywhere. They called cops and fire dept emts.....took him to the hospital. Those close to the spill started getting sick about an hour later and that's when they started to evacuate. I was j. A different area and not exposed so I'm ok but those that were experienced lightheadedness and vomiting. zengal, I always say that if I wrote a book about all the stuff that happens to me no one would believe it was real.
So after I wasted my whole day at doctors....I've got poison ivy and a script for steroid cream. boo to the itchies.
Re: showers....I try to wait till a nap when I'm home alone but I can just put him in the crib and he'll play around. I bring the monitor in the bathroom and if he starts fussing I finish up. sjp03 hope LO is feeling better after some medicine jax1182014 glad you're feeling better! kfaye FX For you
Hi ladies, it has been a crazy day but I have read through everything!
Showers: almost always have lo in his bouncy seat in the bathroom with me, he generally screams for my H and he just ends up bringing him to the bathroom and I sing to him to calm him down. Long showers do not exist.
ninergirl52 I could have written your sleep story myself. My lo only sleeps in 2 hour increments and except for a couple of weeks around 4 months ago when he slept 3 hour increments for two weeks. He nurses every two hours during the night as well, when I try to just paci or cuddle he freaks out until I give him a boob and I have decided that's just what he needs right now and remind myself he won't always want all the cuddles. He was almost 21 pounds at the doctors last week so yeah...he doesn't nurse as often during the day and I'm pretty sure he has night and day mixed up from hunger striking while I work he will go 8-10 hours without a bottle on days I have to leave him for work.
songbirdsinging55 cuddle away they are only this little for a short time. I bring lo into bed with me for most of the night and I love the extra snuggles since I don't get them during the day. I'm also dreading moving him to his crib because I will miss having him so close.
Lo seems to be doing better and has only pooped once today and once yesterday which is normal for him so yay! Still waiting for final culture results though. Dairy free sucks and kudos to those who have been doing it for a while because it is hard! Worth it but hard!
Looking forward to my morning at the spa tomorrow while H keeps lo :-) have a nice weekend everyone!!
@pizie523 I hope your evening picked up with the wine and H getting home! jax1182014 I'm glad you're feeling better, that does not sound like fun! kfaye I hope you get your results quick and that they give you some answers. Healing vibes to you and your little! nerdalert I'm terrified too! So far LO really hasn't had any interest in rolling, but then she rolled three times when I dropped her off at DC this morning. littleapplemom I hope that guy is okay if drank some of that stuff. And boo to poison ivy, glad you went to the doctor for it. spikesmom I'm so happy to hear that LO is feeling better!! I had a busy day at work and now I'm stuck in the driveway at home with a sleeping baby. We upgraded to a bigger car seat and now I can't just carry hear in. Lame.
jax1182014 You have been going through an ordeal! Glad you are feeling better. kfaye I'd been wondering how it went today- sorry it sucked:( and that lo is ill. spikesmom Enjoy the heck out of your spa day! I think I'm going to bed. Baby went to sleep early. H cooked dinner (again!) and I'm taking baby to work tomorrow so I don't have any daycare preparations to do..I better take advantage!
jax1182014kfaye Hope both of you feel better soon. littleapplemom Glad you were not exposed. Sorry about the poison ivy. spikesmom Yay for normal poops. Have fun at the spa tomorrow.
sadie74 We must be neighbors! Same thing with the mower happened here. H came in while I was trying to get baby to sleep and asked what was that loud noise. They're new neighbors. We'll have to shame them into weekend mowing like normal people
