Honestly, I feel bad for the large number of women who were not "regulars", but not butthurt newbs either. They just thought TB might be a good place to get some info and community in their early pregnancy (that's where I was not too long ago). Now they're just stuck with this garbage. Shitty situation all around.
I'm so sad for those experiencing losses--in the wake of all of the shenanigans, those women have been seriously neglected. Solid point @queebbee...I guess the regulars were most of the support. Damn those mean, supportive, honest ladies.
"Mean, supportive, honest ladies" hah! Love our dark side!
I had a glance at Baby Center's Aug '15 board. They had dozens of threads started an hour, with only one or two comments, and all about the same shit. The only cases where there were substantial comments were the ones like "im a virgin can i get pregnant?". Worthwhile stuff, that.
I can see TB being pretty well identical in the next few weeks. It is really sad, because before shit hit the fan our board had started to really settle down, there was a lot less drama and just tons of conversation and support. It's a shame for the people who don't decide to join a bmb until later in their pregnancies, or those only finding out they're pregnant now.
At this point, when I do wander over there and see a good faith question I have something to say about, I try to give a really thoughtful answer. Those women shouldn't be screwed just because the board is a shitshow.

huh... shocker.
I'm sorry, I get so rage-y about this whole thing. I feel really bad for the ladies who need support right now, but honestly? I don't want to be over there. I may "love" things from time to time but even then I hate myself for contributing to any traffic on that site. I've been through a few mass exodus waves, but none of them were handled and horribly as this.
