Anything fun this weekend?

Hurray for a long weekend in the US!

Share your plans for the long weekend, or just the weekend if you are not off on Monday.  Any picnic plans, opening the backyard pool, yardwork or something else fun?  Do you plan to do anything specific to honor the day and remember the veterans?

I wish it were a long weekend for me...I already have Monday's off, however I will get a holiday day woot woot. Nothing fun this weekend, I have been really wanting to go on a cruise though. I am thinking about planning a surprise one for my wife's 35th birthday in August. However, I am worried that I will be 6 months along at that time and trapped on a Cruise if something happens. We plan on getting projects done around the house. We are in the process of selling our jetski so we really need to clean the garage out. We have a TV that needs to be hung up in the dining room that has been sitting for almost 2 years (I have a technology habit and buy too many tvs) and then just some yard work really. Pretty boring. I hope everyone has a great Memorial Day!

We are going to a 1 year Birthday Party tomorrow. Sunday we are going to a BBQ/bonfire and the in laws are watching C. So we are looking forward to that. Hopefully we will fit in a hike or two. L has Monday off, woohoo! So between the two parties and cleaning before the in laws come over Sunday, we will probably take it easy on Monday.

Oh, and I have my beta tomorrow. But the HPTs I have taken so far have been negative so I'm not optimistic. But I'm feeling better about it today than yesterday and I am really excited for the weekend.

Its the spring bank holiday weekend here, so the girls are off school/nursery, but DW is still working so I'm taking the girls to a working farm and playbarn. At the moment, Alice wants to be a farmer, so she'll be very pleased. As for the actual weekend, Daisy has her first dance show on Saturday! All six grandparents are coming to it, and we're all looking forward to seeing them. On Sunday we'll probably spend the day with my parents, since they are coming up from the other end of the country to see us, though they are staying the whole week.

I don't know about fun, perhaps it depends on the results but basically I've got beta tomorrow and I feel like the fun-ness of my weekend all hinges on that.

I'm so relieved to have a long weekend. Work has been unbearably busy the past few weeks. We have some projects around the house to get done. My dad is helping with one tomorrow after O's swim class. M is taking O to visit her great grandmother (has dementia but still loves babies). We are also tackling babyproofing since O is ALL over the place and climbing the stairs if you give her 30 seconds. Baby gates are expensive!
I wish we had plans with family/friends but it looks like we will be hanging solo again.

Nothing happening this weekend for us. We had our long weekend last week.

We've had a whirlwind of a week, so we will be relaxing and just doing some work around the house like mowing the lawn and getting the gardens looking nice.

Might have a fire tomorrow night if we don't get a full on fire ban due to it being so dry here.

IM working AND DS came up sick. When I get out of work tomorrow AM, I will nap quick and take him to urgent care.

We were in Charleston SC for a couple of days and now we are in DC for today. Making the way back home tomorrow morning.

We were/are at Universal Studios in Fl for our anniversary trip, it's been great to get away and just be us again!
