The entire cupcake post reminded me of the time I went to Carrabas to pick up some gift cards before Christmas while pregnant. While waiting I started smelling food, ended up ordering a 3 course meal to go. Pasta, bread, salad and dessert ate it all in my car then hid the evidence, came home and ate dinner with DH.
I fell off a chair decorating my basement for DD's second birthday party and landed on my side when I was about 28/29 weeks. We were rocking out a little too hard to our favorite music from college. The funny thing is, we are going to see the same band play in March so I haven't gotten the "too old for this" memo even after the long night in L&D. I intend to party like it's 2004.
I did prenatal swim class with a couple girlfriends while pregnant. One week, the regular lady was sick so the gym sent one of their meathead male trainers to teach instead. I'll never forget our awkward laughter and he told us to squat and squeeze our buns and "do our kegels on the way back up". I mean. Also, he had no idea what pregnant bodies actually do because he kept asking us to bend at our waist or pull our knees to our chest.... Umm
DH came home one night at about 10.30 to find me in bed crying because I was hungry and all we had was eggs in the house. It never occurred to me to order in. He get me a Chinese feast and I sat there devouring it at 11 at night
First tri I was so nauseous and food was completely unappealing. I eventually quit doing the grocery shopping altogether and DH did it because I was pretty much useless, but early on I was still attempting, and one time the only thing that looked good to me was oatmeal squares. That evening DH comes home and walks into the living room carrying the box of oatmeal squares, hand in the box. Those are mine, I said. He said, but we share, and proceeded to eat a couple. I cried! I knew it was totally irrational, but there I was bawling, dh totally stunned and not sure what to do.

When I was pregnant twith DD1 I would eat a full breakfast, get to work and go straight to the cafeteria for an omelet or and egg mcmuffin, every single day!
I was so constipated early on so I went to the store to get a bag of sun sweet prunes. I was starving because everything was making me nauseated and I was barely eating, so on the drive home I snarfed down somewhere between 6-8 prunes.
I didn't know you aren't supposed to do that.
Fast forward to about 9 hours later when I had a serious Dumb and Dumber toilet moment and had to lock myself in the bedroom, with all the windows open in the bathroom and bedroom and fans on high to get the smell out
One night while watching House Hunters before bed I had a massive breakdown because I felt the couple chose the wrong house. DH walked in on me and was very concerned asking what was wrong. I told him they should have picked house #2 not #3, house #3 was not the best house for them. He looked at me like I had 3 heads and walked back out of the room laughing.
I ate way too many Reeses PB eggs. If I had to guess I'd say 2 of the bags and 3 of the larger 6 pack ones. They were my downfall. Also, I would eat out during my league nights and I would order an appetizer of cheese balls and then get a sandwhich with chips and clean my plate almost every time. I just really ate a lot of food. Not really any funny stories that I can remember. I've learned that if I don't want to share I either hide them at home or I take them to work with me so no one in my house can have any.
I must've blocked out all of my crazy moments but I know I hid chips from DH all the time so I wouldn't have to share. I still do that on occasion. Now I want chips...
Mine was like the Seinfeld episode where Elaine was at the counter asking for the sponge because it was discontinued. Replace the sponge with MCains choclate cake! Haha I ate 4 cakes in 2 days. The best part, DH just asked if I needed milk!
I was obsessed with cheese sticks for like a month straight. I was going to make some and asked DH if he wanted some. He said no. I made mine, took them out of the oven and DH ate one! Omg I was FURIOUS! In tears and yelling at him. He said he would microwave me some more, that it wasnt a big deal so I screamed "its not the same!" Like a 2 year old having a temper tantrum. We laugh about it now but it took me like 2 days to get over it.
I have another! I had a dream I had the baby, then woke up and realized it was just a dream and I cried bc I was still pregnant, then cried later that day because I was afraid my cats would feel neglected with the new baby
Also, when the belly was starting to get in the way of bending over, I dropped a napkin on the floor under the kitchen table & cried because I couldn't reach it.
I got a cookie dough sonic blast for my 3:00 snack at work one day and thought it was the most delicious thing in the world. I walked around the office telling everyone how good it was and how it was the best thing I've ever tasted and even made some people take a bite.
I got one like last month and it was not as good as my pregnant brain thought it was.

@ricola. I love your story! You do realize that they are already in escrow on the property they picked when they get signed up to do the show. Love house hunters though!
I love all these stories. My crying freak outs usually revolved around wanting my DH to come to bed early with me. I did cry at Frozen too.
I was more nauseated than hungry so more stories are more strange times I threw up. I threw up a few times in my car into a cup on my way to court. One time in ppls yards while passing out flyers with DH. And one time on DH and over his windshield after going out to dinner.
I wore one brown and one black shoe out running errands one day. They were similar, but not that similar. I only realized my error when I put them back on in a dressing room after trying on maternity pants. It was shocking, and that was my third stop of the day! I was planning to also go grocery shopping, but couldn't bring myself to do it in 2 different shoes.
I went south when I wanted to go north (driving) and did it twice. Like I have driven here for years and couldn't remember when pregnant which direction to go to get home.
