bathing/conditioner question

Very strange question for all of you, but have you thought about or are you putting conditioner in LO's hair?

I use the lavender bath time baby shampoo but I always feel like LO's hair is so dry and dingy looking. I have thought about using my conditioner in it just to see if it would help it look healthier. I know she favorite past time is putting everything she eats in her hair and that could be why it looks so unhealthy.   I am only shampooing her every 3rd day depending on what she puts in her hair and if I can get it out using a baby wipe.

Other question, how often are you bathing shampooing your LO? She gets in the tub everyday for a wipe down (no body wash), but shampoo every 3rd day and scrub down (with body wash) every other day to every 3rd day again depending on how dirty she is.  Should she be washed/shampooed everyday?

I'm not sure about the conditioner question. I wouldn't think it's necessary at this age (their hair is untouched if you think about it...no environmental damage to it, no blow drying or using a straightener, no hair coloring, etc).
I bathe my DD every other day. I shampoo her twice a week (but she really doesn't have much hair) and use a small amount of body wash on her usually every other day.

We bathe the kids every other day, and shampoo each time. We don't use conditioner for either kid. I have thought about it for DD who is 4, just to make it more manageable, but I haven't done it yet. So far we use a spray detangler for her, and that's been working. Nothing for DS. His hair is short and doesn't get knotted like DD's.

We bathe EoD and shampoo each time.
I have found that the scented washes are awful for his hair!
I switched to sebamed baby wash and his hair is AMAZING!!!

FWIW, we use Honest Company shampoo/body wash and DD's hair is always left super soft!

We bathe every other night and shampoo every other as well. I've never really given a thought to using conditioner but then again she doesn't have a ton of hair.

DD doesn't have much hair so I've never considered conditioner. I was bald until I was 2 and it looks like she's taking after me! But we give a bath every other day and use J&J all-in-one. She gets washed head to toe each time.

We bathe every night and shampoo every night too. I'm thinking about conditioner too cause LO had curls that go into a poufy mess after playing and napping.

We also bathe and shampoo every night. We use J&J body wash and shampoo.

I used conditioner one Lo once because when her hair was shorter, it stuck up everywhere for a day afterward, so I thought maybe the conditioner would help it lay down a bit. It didn't. Her hair is getting a lot longer now so it's own weight is helping weigh it done better.

We bathe/shampoo about 3 times per week. We just use the up&up brand baby wash and her hair is fine. It's funny that this came up though, because just 2 nights ago one of the girls from my work posed the same question on her Facebook. Her 19 month old is mixed ethnicity (black/white) and she is having problems with dryness and frizz. A couple of her friends suggested Shea Moisture products. They have a kids line that is supposedly very good.

We are a every other day/ every third day household. Right now just using an Aveeno baby shampoo but I may switch soon.

We bath every other night, or everyday if she was wearing sunscreen or something was put on her skin. We only use shampoo in her hair (Johnsons nighttime or Honest Co) but make sure to dry it completely and brush it every night.

Her hair is super fine tho so I doubt it's softness has anything to do with our routine.

Bath every other night. We use Johnson's no tears shampoo. No need for conditioner.

What about tooth paste, are you using it since they have teeth now

I do because it came with the toothbrush I bought her. Her first dentist appointment is in a couple weeks too

Yes. We use fluoride free toothpaste although there are some recs for using fluoride as early as age one. We brush every night. All 14 teeth!!

We use fluoride free toothpaste too, every night. She only had 4 teeth, with 3 more poking through.
We bathe every other night unless she is dirty or had sunscreen on. We wash her hair during every bath. We use dove sensitive skin body wash for both.

4 teeth + 1 molar here and we just use water. I didn't plan to use tooth past until 18-24 months.
