My MIL gave me a diaper genie and it came with 2 in the box. I gave one to a pregnant friend. I do like having it, but it's probably not necessary...and I definitely didn't need two.

All of my opinions must be extremely popular...I can't think of any UOs this week. :-P

Some people have no business wearing leggings. Many factors but if I can see your camel toe, ass crack and every dint and dimple, you aren't doing anyone any favors flaunting that business off.

I agree with the leggings and go on to include no one should wear white leggings (unless you are under the age of 5)

I not a fan of Johnny Deep...Sure he might be talented and very nice but I just want to tell him to take a shower and wash your greasy hair.

SIL wears leggings all the time as pants. With waist length shirts. She says she can do it because she's skinny. No, she can't. Leggings aren't pants.

I think I will have my New Englander card taken away for this, but as a life long Patriots fan my UO is that football just isn't exciting this year. I have too much going on to really get into it.

My unpopular opinion is that I don't think you're making that much of additional income selling mary kay, arbonne, rhodes and field, jamberry, thirty one, wraps .. or any other home selling venture that's out there. I have no problem if you want to do a party or whatnot as a fun friends/family event but let's cut the crap and stop pretending this is paying for your school loans, mortgage.. etc.


I have TOO MANY fb invitations and see way too many status daily about how this is changing your life, become your own boss.. etc.

I have TOO MANY fb invitations and see way too many status daily about how this is changing your life, become your own boss.. etc.

I think this in most cases, but I know some people who have made six figures selling those body wrap things. Its crazy to me. I think the meh is getting in before the market around you gets saturated. You have to get in when its new and hardly anyone sells it so all of the other people have to sign up under you. I could never do if, though.

ETA: Actually two different people in different areas. Both of them ended up having their spouses quit their job to help because they made so much from it.

I side eye anyone who does this in my circle of "friends".  I don't participate in a single thing.

That's insane. I mean I believe it happens here and there because no one else would join unless there was some higher goal to strive for, but you really have to hustle to make it happen and the people I know are just fooling themselves, haha.

I agree! I think most are looking for a quick way to get rich without much effort. I was shocked when I saw how successful they are. Except a couple of people who started selling Arbonne and Mary Kay literally decades ago (like my moms ages), I never knew anyone who made a living off of any of those.....much less that kind of a living. I imagine once the fad dies down their income will as well, though?

My OH's opinion is unpopular with me. The course I was doing didn't work out so he thinks I should give up my life-long dream of becoming a mechanic and be one of those people who do fancy manicures and paint pictures on nails instead. I'm sure it requires a lot of skill and training but that ain't my world.

I just hate everything today, ignore me.

I'm a Pats fan, too. I totally think there is something shady with the deflated balls. I don't think it is why they won the AFC championship, though. I'll still root for them in the Super Bowl which is not a UO here in New England, but I think it's a UO for the rest of the country...

My UO (brought to you by co-workers drama) is that it is silly to make huge gigantic deals about adult birthday parties - I'm talking specifically about crazy 30th birthday parties with fancy wedding-esque invitations, rented halls, live entertainment, and drama when someone dares to say that they can't make it.

I am all about live and let live, but damn, if I have to hear any more drama about 30th birthday parties...

@superkim13 I am definitely still rooting for them in the superbowl. It just sucks because even if they kill Seattle everyone is just going to say they got there by cheating so it will be tainted. They definitely killed the Colts and I don't think that had anything to do with the balls.

I wish I could agree but I know a ceo who owns a company that you mentioned... he's a multi-millionaire. He and his wife started only 10years or so ago... I also met a few of the other high sellers and it is nuts the amount of money they bring in a month. And for most they have only been doing it for less than 5 years.

The Facebook parties to me are like the epitome of lazy selling. Convenient, sure, for friends/family that are far away. A relative had a Thirty-One FB party so I ordered something for her as Christmas gifts and didn't even get a thank you - pshh, last time I push "Join event" for you, honey!!

Along the same lines, is posting "My daughter is selling Girl Scout cookies, message me if you want to order!" today's equivalent of Mom taking the order form to work and leaving it in the faculty lounge so the teachers would order cookies? lol

Also, I'm proud to say I've never been to a home-sell party. What else do you call them? No Mary Kay, no Tupperware, no Party Lite, no Pampered Chef, no Thirty One. I've managed to avoid/ignore it all.

Some people at our church FINALLY stopped inviting me to every dang Premier jewelry party that they have. Every month. I guess they finally got a clue that when I said, "If I'm going to spend money on pearls it's going to be percussion equipment."

Also, my budget is TIGHT. I don't have $40 to spend every month on random jewelry.

I was just sitting here smiling thinking about my husband feeding me ice chips and talking about Paul Rudd and Pinterest projects with all of the ladies in the room between pushes. It makes me feel like a badass because I'm suuuuuch a wuss typically.

I think Smash Cakes are dumb. I like the idea of the babe having their own small cake or cupcake, but to PAY someone to make a cake for the baby to smash...silly.
