I'm gonna do it! I'm gonna buy an immersion blender. I can't stand seeing all the things you can do with it, so I'm gonna get one. Sorry if you all have discussed this to death, but any advice on what one to buy? I'm excited for so much, but mainly tj's coffee
sarenu I use mine in my nonstick pans all the time too. I just try not to scrape it around. It does kind of get suctioned to the bottom because of the way physics works, but when it sucks down to the bottom I just let go of the button, pick it back up, and puree some more. NBD.
I've always wanted on. But does anyone remember the infomercial from the 90s about the immersion blender? I remember they made mayo in a glass jar and didn't break it. And my friends mom had one and we all thought she was so cool.

My mom bought one. I would totally steal it from her... but my sister got it first.
She also has one of those hand made woks. I'm not sure who ended up with it. I don't have a gas stove to use it right now, so I think my sister has that one as well.

This reminds me, SAK, I think I got the same KA blender as you bc it doesn't have buttons to release the attachments. It's a twist and pull dealie. You probably already figured that out, though.
I did. I have seriously used that thing at least twice/day since I got it. Thankfully I figured out how to get it apart to clean it Turns out the first time i put it on I wasn't paying attention and didn't make those little notches line up so it got kinda stuck. Even my husband had trouble getting it off (I know, twss) , so I felt like less of a weakling.

Don't you hate it when you struggle with a jar or something and then your husband opens it like it's the easiest thing in the world? That happens to me all the time so I totally understand the pleasure you take in seeing then struggle with it, too, lol.
