TTT!

1. DD and I are going to go for a walk, but I just had some water and know that I'll have to pee as soon as we leave.... so I'm doing TTT first.

2. Every morning I tell her that we are going for a walk and she proceeds to put on her rubber boots. Of all of the shoes that she owns, she loves those boots.

3. This typically turns into a bit of a tantrum because it's too hot outside to wear boots.

4. I'm ready to have this baby now. This pregnancy has been okay, but I'm ready to be able to tie my shoes and shave my legs again.

5. DH and I have been talking about building a new house! It wouldn't be ready until next summer, but exciting anyways!

6. I've been eating way too much ice cream the past week.

7. We've got the kiddie pool set up in the backyard and DD will spend HOURS out there.

8. Last night while I put DD to bed, DH stopped at the theatre to pick up popcorn and then we watched a movie on the couch. It was perfect!

9. We are going to the dinner factory (I've mentioned it before, it's a place where you assemble meals to cook at home) tonight to load up the freezer with meals for post-baby.

10. Time for a walk! Restless toddler and Starbucks craving mommy!

1. I really want to get DD some rain boots. It's been raining nonstop for what seems like forever (literally I think it's been 2 weeks, with another on the way).

2. The rain is getting really old! I want to spend some time outside!!

3. Sunday I decided I need to open an indoor playground for toddlers. Everything I could find indoors to get some energy burnt off of DD was for older kids or very expensive. I'm thinking basically just an indoor play area for little ones and maybe a splash pad as well...$2-3 entry. Would have saved my sanity this weekend!

4. DD has FINALLY started puckering for kisses. I think she did the tongue out, open mouthed kissing way longer than normal but now her kisses are so adorable and sweet! She's becoming such a loving little thing.

5. That said, "No" and "Mine" have become extremely frequent words in my house. That got really old this weekend. Especially when the no's are drug out NOOOOOOOOOOOs. Oy.

6. I'm excited to have a sonogram/OB appointment tomorrow. I'm 30 weeks but DS is measuring big. I'm just looking forward to seeing him!

7. I really miss having housekeepers. DH got me maidservice for my birthday and it was glorious for about 6 months. Now, b/c of his layoff, we had to cut back and I just can't keep up. It's so tiring. I'm hoping we can splurge and get a deep clean just before baby is born.

8. I can't believe how fast our LOs are growing up! DD now basically climbs in the car by herself which is a huge help for me!

9. I really hope this is the week DH gets a job. I'm so grateful (and somewhat amazed) that we've made it this long without touching our savings, but we are quickly approaching the need and I just want him situated and happy in a good position.

10. I think he is going to work towards being a cop. He needs some college credit, and exercise before he can actually do it, but he's motivated now so we have a goal. Just need to find a job that pays the bills in the meantime and allows him to take classes and workout.

I don't typically post in this thread, but I feel like I need to come on and say this but don't want to make it bigger than it is by posting in a separate thread. Anyway...
I'm doing a bit of a digital detox, and I won't be checking in as much, at least for the next few months. I'm so glad to have all of you in my life, so please don't take this as a GBCTCF or anything dramatic, just taking a natural step back. I'm planning to check in at least once in a while (can't miss the birth announcements!), but I won't be making a big effort to come on most days as I have in the past.

jnetx congrats on the new car! And I am right there with you on the rain! Our parks are flooded so we haven't been able to really do anything outside which is getting so old! I am seriously so grateful right now that I'm not a stay at home mom b/c I don't know how I would deal with being inside with DD all day every day!

DH also traded in his truck for my SUV when I was pregnant with DD and he had a hard time with it too. Luckily our men are ok with making sacrifices for our families
