DD is currently napping on me so I am taking the time to browse the Internet and get caught up on Pinterest and finding new things. You know, the important things
DS and I went out to get end of year gifts for her teachers. We decided on Dunkin Donuts gift cards and then each got a donut for our hard work. I'm all kinds of sad face that DD only has one day of school left.
younglove316 Pinterest is a dangerous place for me. I can get lost for hours looking at all the food and diy. Now that I've posted my meal plan for the week, I must go shopping. The weather is finally cooperating so LO and I are going for a walk through the nature park later. Hopefully, she goes down for her nap soon so I can sneak in my shower.
I need to figure out if the rain is going to pick up or let up, so I can decide when to go to the store. I am rearranging a few minor areas of the house. LO just requested I build with Legos with him, so he is working on getting them out now.
S/O Dunkin and related places. MH got a Starbucks gift card. Neither us has ever been there, and neither of us are big lovers of coffee drinks. Do they have other stuff that is good? Recommendations?

I'm not a huge fan of Starbucks but I like their frozen drinks when I go there. It's been so long since I've been I can't remember exactly what it is but it's a caramel Frappuccino I believe with whipped cream. It's still coffee but I don't feel like it tastes as much like coffee.
cam we have a $25 Starbucks gift card and we don't drink coffee. They have muffins and tea and stuff too. We are thinking to re-gift ours though because we'd just waste it on stuff we don't even really enjoy.

They have fruit smoothies, bakery items, tea, and I recommend trying a frappuccino; my DH doesn't really like coffee, but he likes some of the yummy flavors like smores!
DD had her 4 month appointment this morning and she is still a happy healthy little girl. She gained 6 pounds in 2 months this little chunker knows how to eat. She was pretty great for her vaccines and is now napping away. I am crossing my fingers she stays happy especially since H is off on a business trip for the night.
I have quite a bit to do post long weekend vacation and pre ILs getting her Friday, but I am just sitting on the couch. I think my give a darn is busted.
So, I used to be able to wait 2 yrs for a phone upgrade with AT&T, go into the store & get a new phone for a discounted price (say $199 for iPhone). Well I went to upgrade my husbands phone for the first time in 3 or 4 years and they told me you can no longer upgrade by buying the phone outright for $200 or w/e. Instead, we have to pay for the phone over 2 years by paying an extra $25 to our phone bill each month... Which would be a total cost of $600. What the actual F?? I said "Um, what is the cost for me to just buy the phone today?" And the employee said "that's not possible anymore."
He did say that I could buy an upgraded phone online for $200, but that I would be charged an extra $15/month on our phone bill. I have no idea how any of this is logical. The phone is for my husbands birthday in 2 days & his current one is broken so I went ahead and purchased one, (which I know was totally stupid of me) and now our phone bill will be $25 extra each month.
GRRR!
eesh I am sorry you already purchased a phone. I would most definitely look into it something is suspicious. I will say a new iphone is about $800 so paying $600 over 2 years would still be cheaper except likely if it lasts longer than 2 years I doubt the monthly charge would go away.
We are seriously considering leaving att when our contract is up

We have AT&T as well and ran into the same thing when I cracked my phone last year. I didn't understand it at all so my husband went in and dealt with it. From what the guy did say though is most phone companies will be moving that direction, I don't know how true that is but even with the stupid new thing our bill is still cheaper.

@charlotte Sorry you and your LO had a rough time last night. As for AT&T if you don't want to pay that much for a phone you can just buy an AT&T GO phone at Walmart. I bought a Nokia 635. It was about $60. I then went to AT&T and had them transfer my info onto a mini sim card for FREE. IF your H doesn't mind having a phone without all the bells and whistles it is a really good deal. Also, DH and I are looking into switching to Cricket when our contract with AT&T runs out.

This is the first time I've been on the boards today. DD had a rough couple of hours last night. Her acid reflux was acting up and she threw up twice. Her fever was completely gone when she woke up today. I'm having to put all DD's medicine in milk or juice to get her to take it since she got sick. This afternoon I had a dentist appointment. Let me just say OUCH!!! Deep cleaning was not fun. At least I done't go back for another month.

I'm obviously a day late! But this week has been crazy, we moved Bruce into a new bedroom and took the side off his crib on Sunday. He is having trouble going to sleep at night, so that's fun. Tantrums have also started this week, and it's terrible.
