Did you meet baby in the delivery room or OR?

I was a planned c-section; however, baby came 24 hours prior! There was nothing emergent about the situation. Just a tubal ligation scheduled @ the same time as c-section.

My Csection and tubal were scheduled for June 18 but baby decided he wanted to be born in April so I laboured forever(26 hours) and was sent home from the hospital a few times and when I went back they found I was fully dilated and rolled me into the operating room.

I picked SS. Baby boy was born via c-section after 28 hours of labor. It wasn't an emergency situation though as his heart rate was good, my BP was stable and there was no concern for either of us. He was sunny side up and he was wedged to the right in the birth canal, so being able to deliver vaginally was not a huge possibility -- the doctor and DH and I decided c-section was the best option.

Delivery room. My water broke before I had any contractions. So, 12 hrs later, I checked into hospital to be induced.

Delivery room. Barely had time to get the room ready to deliver.

I also picked SS because I tried for a vaginal but my doctor shut it down after 2 hours of pushing because he was sunny side up. He said that if he hadn't made progress in that amount of time then it wouldn't work out in my favor.

Unplanned, non-emergency c-section. Voted emergency c-section.

SS... 37 hours of induction then an unscheduled c-section. Water broke and had contractions from about an hour after the cervadil was inserted. At about the 24 hour mark with little progress I was given an epidural and pitocen. Not enough progress so they did surgery.
