QOTD: Fathers Day

What are your plans for Father's Day? Any special gifts, food or activities?

Planning to buy DH a cheap Bluetooth shower speaker since he uses his cell phone every night to listen to music and blares it. I'm a terrible cook but I can make a good lasagna so I'm planning to make that for dinner and we will go out for ice cream for dessert as long as the weather is nice. Nothing else planned at this point but it is pretty similar to what he did for Mother's Day so I think I'm good! Woo!

We will be on vacation, but no current plans. I have a rain check out for Mother's Day so maybe I'll cash that in

Probably spending the weekend with family - my in-laws usually have us and my parents over for a BBQ. No ideas yet on what to buy anyone.

No clue. DS picked out cards to give to DH and Grandpa. I was thinking of getting him a gift but I have no clue what to give. Looking for ideas....

I think we are getting DH a tree trimmer for a gift. That is as far as I've gotten with plans.

I'm planning on making a sharpee mug (more likely a bowl) with DD like this.



We'll probably also just eat whatever he wants that day and hang out around the house. I may still get him something else but I think the mug/bowl is so cute and something DD would actually enjoy doing.

Funny that you should ask this, as I just finished getting DD to paint a canvas for him a couple of hours ago. It has an opening for a picture, so I'll get one of DD and the new baby to put in it.

We'll have a newborn, so it will probably be a pretty low key day for us, but we'll order in some delicious food.

DH didn't get me anything for mother's day, so that takes the pressure off me for father's day, lol.

DH usually prefers to relax, so we probably won't plan too much. DH and DD both love star wars, so I picked up one of those cute Darth Vader and kids books, I think it's called "Goodnight Darth Vader". I will probably help DD make him something, too, but haven't decided what yet.

I will get DH a card. I think it will be just like Mother's Day. The day will be just like any other Sunday. We might have to go to church because DH's dad or his mom would like us to go to church. It is up to DH.

Gift. I may get DH something small. That's if I am able to go out shopping for something.

We just bought a new entertainment center for our house soooooo with that in mind he will get a card and I will try and Pintrest a craft idea but that may or may not happen.
H's dad is taking the the whole family out minus kids the night before to a big fancy dinner the night before so that should be a lot of fun. We will most likely relax with DD on Sunday, and I will make a favorite meal and have a dessert in the house.

MH wants special sexual favors for father's day. Other than that he said he didn't need anything else. We might have a cookout at my grandpa's house.
