Great article about different experiences of motherhood

Someone posted an article last week where the author’s experience with new motherhood was all sunshine and flowers. I had a hard time relating to the article and found this one to be much more true to my experience. I particularly liked how the author talked about validating all experiences of motherhood and the fact that it’s okay to admit that everything is much more difficult than you imagined it would be.

Thanks for posting, i think that she made a lot of great points in the article.

OMG I love it. A friend of mine had a baby 2 month before I did and thinks seemed to come so naturally to her. She never worried about anything, and I envy that so much. Any time I would ask her advice or for help, she would always tell me to stop worrying, things will be fine.

It just wasn't that easy for me! And it's nice to read an article that reminds me that it's ok.

and PS... I really like this article! I read a sunshine and rainbows one too (not sure if it was the same) But I like the 'other side'
