Can anyone enlighten me on what this might be from? It's been there for over a month now, not inflamed or even red usually, doesn't pop up after eating anything in particular. I thought irritation from constant spit/drool?? I don't put any cleansers or lotions on/near her face. Just wondering if I should be concerned.
No paci @iheartmyshiba, she's been done with that for a few months. That would have been a good explanation, though! I've seen that ointment and it looks awesome. Will have to check it out!
No other irritated patches anywhere, Lola. Coconut oil is our go-to for everything, maybe that would help.
Right now I just try to keep her face clean and dry, especially right before she goes to sleep.
Lanolin, Aquaphor, or coconut oil (especially after you dry it out all they way) should help if it's just from being wet.
I'd avoid the aquaphor around the mouth. It says on the packaging to avoid getting it in mouth or eyes. Lanolin and coconut oil are ok if it gets ingested.
