Recommend your bottle re gas

We've been using Tommie Tippee closer to nature bottles and now that LO is in daycare and getting multiple bottles a day, it turns out they give him terrible gas. Like burping and gas drops not helping, terrible.

Any recommendations for bottles to deal with gas? The ones we have do have a valve to help with gas, but he's still super gassy.

seamonster, we used TT before and also found them to cause a lot of gas. If you've never had gas problems before with those bottles, you might want to check to make sure the day care people are using the valves (making sure they're open) properly. Personally I thought milk was flowing much faster with the TT than Dr Brown's. If LO is being fed too quickly, could make him rally gassy. We abandoned the TT bottles after a few weeks of use due to gas. Dr Brown wide neck bottles are what we settled on, the nipples are bigger and are better if you're still bfing.

We use the Nuk vented orthodontic nipples and bottles and haven't had any issues. I agree with PP that double checking with your daycare provider to make sure they are using them properly is a good idea.

Dr. Brown had too many parts for me.

We've had the best luck with playtex ventaire.

They air escapes through the bottom of the bottle as LO sucks.

We use dr. Browns for gas reasons. Also, DS tends to not maul my nipple during feelings when using dr Browns. The advent natural and tommy tippee nipples made DS change his latch to where it was extremely painful during feedings.

I have used Born Free for both kids and they did the best on those for gas.

Another vote for Dr Browns wide neck bottles. We tried avent natural and tommee tippee first and they both caused DS too much gas

Good point about checking the valves. I'm sometimes bad about making sure they're open.

They are pace feeding him, but as he's able to chug the bottle even with the newborn nipple, a bottle with a slower flow wouldn't hurt. I'll check out the Dr browns and the platted since I know I can find them here.

I'm in love with my Munchkin Latch. We tried Dr. Brown, Nuk, and Avents. They either flowed to fast or just didn't seem to work.
