more baby gear questions

I know we had the whole Mamaroo vs. swing debate a few weeks ago. Now I want to hear from all the mamas of kids who loved their swings--which swing did you have?

For Robin we had a swing very similar to this one:



And Robin loved it so much that the motor was almost dead by the time he was done with it.

We got the Fisher Price Snugga-bunny swing (link). We've had no issues with it and both kids have liked it. It's still going strong on kid #2. It does take up quite a bit of room though.

We had the fisher price little lamb snugga bunny swing. I loved it. Worth every penny!

We have the fisher price zen collection cradle swing. I think that is where S took the bulk of his naps for the first six months or so. We really like it and fingers crossed it still works just as well! Ours was a gift from my brother-in-law and his wife.

Unrelated to swings but along the lines of baby gear: we picked up a few of the Love to Dream Love to Swaddle Up swaddlers at Buy Buy Baby--I don't think they existed three years ago and we really love them for baby A! We bought one to start and H went back and bought two more yesterday.

I had a swing just like the one you had. Neither one of my kids liked the swing but I think that is just their personality. However, once they were both asleep I could put them in it and they would stay asleep. My motor just died and I ordered a Mamaroo. I also called graco and ordered a new motor for the swing and it was $28 + $8.95 shipping. If you wanted to go that route.

A friend let us borrow the Fisher price snugga bunny swing. E loved it. It was the only place I could put her down to nap for months.
This time we got a similar fisher price one. It goes side to side and back and forth. E loved side to side but I wanted to cover my bases for LO #2.

We had the FP space saver swing. Worked great for us. No complaints.

Another snuggabunny here. Ellison loves it. Gage hated everything at this age. I like that you can change the directions so it swings side by side or front and back

Same, minus having kid #2, but Emma napped in it daily until well after her first birthday. (Monday confession?) That side to side motion is legit for the newborn phase.

We had snugabunny with L and it was barely used. It broke about a month into the twins. FP was awesome and gave me a new swing. It's a snugapuppy and the same as the snuga bunny except puppy vs bunny. Boys LOVE it!
