so funny you started this bc I was thinking hmmm moms check in hasnt been done in a while let me go start one.. haha.
Ages: 7 weeks as of yesterday.
Fraternal/ID/b/g: "fraternal" but I am thinking they are ID
Current milestones: Sleeping longer stretches at night. actually smiling and not bc of gas lol
Current challenges:Ohhh there are many. Sleep deprived bc I have to pump even if I don't do the MOTN feeding bc neither have latched and even trying to bfeed them w the nipple shield when im home alone one of them ends up screaming crying bc the other is taking to long or they both are just screaming. Getting anything done is a lil difficult. took me forever to make an egg sandwich today. I walk away the other spits out his passifier and is crying lol.
QOTW: How alike/different are your multiples? hmmm they are very much a like right now but still pretty young. I am too tired right now to think lol
Current milestones: Head control is improving, some longer stretches of sleep at night.
Current challenges: Having to feed two at a time is rough. They can be pretty gassy too so making sure they get good burps.
QOTW: How alike/different are your multiples? So far DS is my snuggler and DD seems more laid back.
my boys are gassy too which makes them super fussy. Feeding at the same time isn't much of a struggle for me. Love the twin z pillow and two boppy loungers on both sides. Its the burping that gets difficult for me lol if I stop mid feeding to get a burp out of one all hell breaks loose lol.
Current milestones: So independent! They're able to get dressed with only a little help, fully potty trained, they're just like kids now! Not babies anymore!
Current challenges: The drama. Two 3 year olds who are up in each other's business 24/7 is a rough thing to deal with. They're constantly bickering over who had what toy, what cup, whatever. It's exhausting.
QOTW: How alike/different are your multiples? They're pretty different. One is great at gross motor/sports, super outgoing, jolly. The other is a bit more serious, a snuggler, and better at tasks like reading or concentrating on an art project. They're both really goofy, happy kids though with a ton of energy.
Fraternal/ID/b/g: Identical girls!! Still can't believe they are ID!
Current milestones: Cruising around everything, playing responsive games (like peekabo) with each other.
Current challenges: They are being really whiny and "dramatic" lately. Hopefully it is just because they are getting over a bug and not because of a new phase ;-)
QOTW: How alike/different are your multiples? This is hard to explain because they have a lot of similar qualities manifested in different ways. They are both pretty happy and laid back, so I can't say one is the mellow one and one is the happy one or anything like that. I feel like A is more goofy and more of a ham while M is just more goodnatured and sweet. A is definitely more into everything and hits a lot of her physical milestones first while M has been more content to sit still and not in a rush to go go go. But they are both similar for now!
They'll be TWO at the end of the month. Big one is 5yo.
Fraternal boys.
Current milestones: becoming legit little people.
Current challenges: see above . Srsly they're into everything all the time. I need another pair of eyes and 4 more hands it seems like.
Alike/Different: totally different. B is more like his big brother - hitting gross and fine motor milestones early and talking late. L has so many words, it blows my mind. But not so much on the coordination.
They're so sweet w each other though - giving hugs, sharing, saying sorry, bringing the other a blanket or a sippy cup.

Ages: 11m
Fraternal/ID/b/g: fraternal girls
Current milestones: walking and talking! Almost toddlers, yikes.
Current challenges: climbing EVERYTHING. Eating EVERYTHING. Into EVERYTHING. lol
QOTW: How alike/different are your multiples? Very different. One is bigger, taller, deeper voice, darker hair/eyes, less mobile. Their laughs are completely different. Features are very different, from noses, foreheads, one has a cheek dimple, one has a chin dimple... They look more like cousins than siblings, just very different girls. I think as they get older the differences will get more defined, they'll be the twins people don't believe are twins lol.
Current milestones: They're talking so much. They're starting to form short sentences and are really starting to be able to convey their wants, likes, dislikes etc. "I want it chee-ohs (Cheerios.)""I wike (like) it bana (banana.)" So cute!!
Current challenges: Toddlerhood in general. Lol.
QOTW: How alike/different are your multiples? They look pretty similar for frats and are very close in size, but their personalities are so different. C is my snuggler and is a total mama's boy. His favorite toys are balls and cars. He has a bad temper, but is overall pretty compliant. He has always been better at the gross motor skills. T is super friendly and always happy. He loves anything he can manipulate, press buttons on, or take apart. He is kind of sneaky and straight up defiant. He has always achieved the fine motor skills first. They're both talking equally well and both love to sit in their stroller and watch people, which is nice. Both also have a ton of energy. They love each other and it's so fun to watch their relationship develop.

@**** My DD who is 3 has been much more the challenge than the babies! I've about come completely unglued more than I'd like to admit with her.
She's been in summer camp from 9-1 and they keep bragging on how much of how great her manners are and that she's going to be great when she starts preschool there in the fall. It's been a nice break for me too!

My DS was 2.5 when we brought the twins home, he's almost 3.5 now and he is the reason I lose my mind most days! Everyone looks at the twins and says, "oh you have your hands full!" But no... The toddler will get you every time lol. He is hard to handle. I'm hoping it gets easier soon.
I'm a little late to the party but wanted to join in
Ages:7 months (5 adjusted)
Fraternal/ID/b/g:B/G
Current milestones:They are LOVING solids. They both get so excited about them. W hated cereal but once I tried him on bananas he was hooked! P pretty much eats anything she is so funny- she loves her food and you better not do anything to get between her and that food lol.
Current challenges: We just transitioned them from their rnp in our room to their cribs so we had a few nights of rough sleep, but I think they are doing better now. Napping is still a constant challenge, they are doing a little bit better since we gave up on trying to get them to nap at the same time and just figure as long as they are both getting good naps in that is better than nothing.
QOTW: How alike/different are your multiples? They both have their days. Overall they are both pretty happy babies. But both of them when they want/need something they let you know about it. W- is usually all smiles and P- loves to "talk" to you.

Hope it is ok to jump in here.
Ages: almost 14 weeks (4 weeks adjusted)
Fraternal/ID/b/g: Identical Boys
Current milestones: Sleeping a 5 hour stretch at night
Current challenges: Feeding on demand! I swear they are going through a growth spurt because suddenly they want a bottle every 90 minutes. It is exhausting
QOTW: How alike/different are your multiples? It is cute to see their personalities forming a little. J is very active and likes to see what is going on, while T is a snuggler and just wants to fall asleep while cuddled.
Current milestones: Ben is cooing and smiling like crazy, Megan is just starting to do the same.
Current challenges: trying to transition from the rnp to the crib. Not going so well, any tips would be greatly appreciated!
QOTW: How alike/different are your multiples? Ben is more relaxed where as Megan is a drama queen. Although, when either of them want to eat, they want it NOW!
