1. I'm watching my 2 neices today and tonorrow (one is almost 3 years old and the other is 6 months) along with DD and I'm exhausted! I don't know how people babysit on a normal basis, this is so hard.
2. My neices' mother told me she would be at my house a little after 7 this morning to drop the girls off and I told her to text me when she left her house so I knew she was on her way. DH was walking out to his car at 6:45 this morning and she was already sitting out front of our house! Um hello, where were you last night when we spoke about what was happening this morning.
3. I got my hair cut last night and asked for the hairdresser to cut it down to my shoulders. She cut it way shorter and now I basically have a bob and I am having a hard time deciding if it's even on both sides. I dont know how I feel about this new hair style...
4. I've been MIA here lately we've been trying to finish some projects around our house so we can put it on the market soon. I've been trying to keep up on reading the new posts but havent posted much recently.
5. I have been feeling under the weather and tired lately, it's so hard to relax with a toddler!
6. I decided to take a pregnancy test yesterday since I've just felt off the past few days and I got a positive!
7. I'm excited and nervous for another LO. It certainly doesn't feel "real" just yet that's for sure. I haven't told anyone yet and I wanted to get DD a big sister shirt to tell DH but watching my neices has me stuck home so I can't go out looking for one for a few days.
8. EDD is Feb 7th!
9. I don't know if I can make it through another day of babysitting. I think I'm going to ask if there is anyone else that can watch them tomorrow because this is just not working out. FWIW, they asked me late last night to watch them and aren't paying me to do so. There is a lot of kicking, pushing, and hitting going on and I just cant get them to stop at all. It's becoming dangerous at this point and someone is going to get hurt. I want to run, hide and cry.
10. I really hope my sweet little DD doesn't pick up any of the bad habits her older cousin is showing, ugh!
Sorry for all the rants, it feels good to get it out.
1. I am so glad to see the sun! 2. I got DD a new swimsuit this weekend and can't wait till Saturday to use it! Pool and sprinkler are coming out! 3. As much as I was sick of the rain, I realized at the end of the ongoing downpour that it was keeping the summer relatively cool. I'll probably be missing the rain in a week or 2. 4. DH started a new job yesterday! YAYYYYY!!! He was laid of at the beginning of April and had gotten really down about not finding anything. 5. He's going to have benefits and direct deposit and everything! It's like a legit company! LOL, his last couple of jobs were very small family owned who ran business with shady practices so now it's the little things that count! 6. DS is measuring 5 lbs 12 oz at my appointment last week (30 weeks!) he is one big boy! He's also 17 inches long. 7. I gotta admit, I feel like bragging on how big my boy is! lol. I'm super excited b/c I haven't gained much and it looks like it is all him 8. So excited to schedule my csection next week! I am stressed about the unknown logistics of childbirth so having a date to prepare for will help calm me down. 9. I have 2 baby showers next week so hopefully after that I will get everything in order for poor baby. I've been so much more relaxed about preparations with this one than I was with DD. 10. DD is ready to potty train. She moved to the 2 yo class at daycare and they set her on the potty at regular intervals so now at home she insists on pulling off her diaper and sitting on the potty regularly. It was the first thing she did this morning. Mama's gonna have to get with it and follow her lead.
@fiveohfive that's a great idea except its DH's account and he gets notified of everything purchased . Maybe I can sneak out tonight for some "me" time haha.
Thank you everyone! I'm joining you all in the fun and can't wait to hear your announcements and updates as your families expand as well!

jnetx, I hear you on the c-section vs VBAC debate! I really didn't make a decision until last month when my doctor finally asked if we were scheduling a c-section or not. It's not an easy choice! I'm going to try for a VBAC primarily because of the fact that DD is still very dependant on being picked up and these days only mommy will do. I'm trying to imagine not being able to lift her for 6 weeks and I don't know how we'll manage. Of course, if I go overdue we'll end up scheduling a c-section as opposed to inducing labour. Crossing my fingers that she makes an appearance before I need to think about that!

1. Just got home from a nice long walk. It's chilly out today, but I bundled up DD and it's nice to not have giant swollen feet from the heat for once.
2. SO OVER BEING PREGNANT. My EDD isn't until Friday so I should just calm down, but I went 2 weeks over with DD and I'm just so tired of being uncomfortable and peeing every 3 minutes. Hoping the full moon tonight encourages labour? Haha.
3. Also making labour inducing lemon cupcakes, which did absolutely nothing last time but tasted delicious and any excuse to eat cupcakes, right?
4. Today is 6 years from the day that DH and I started dating. I never imagined that we'd be where we are now.
5. He left a bowl of M&M's on my laptop for me to find this morning. True love.
6. I'm actually considering going to a wedding on Saturday if I'm still pregnant. It's in town, and they are good friends. I'll dance this baby out.
7. I tried to book a prenatal massage this week but the next available appointment was the 16th... that's a bit too late!!
8. Currently drinking fully caffeinated coffee, because I can't seem to sleep at night anymore.
9. We had so many people over Sunday... everyone just decided that they needed to visit. I've been feeling really antisocial so I didn't enjoy it at all, even though they brought food. My house is still a mess which is annoying after weeks of nesting.
10. I put DD down for her nap but left a giant teddy bear in her crib... and well, I just snuck into her room to take photos of this adorableness.
jnetx I completely feel you on the fear of a long labor resulting in a csection anyway. Personally my doctor and I chose to do a RCS and I am comfortable with that. I do stress of dealing with DD alone though. I've been working with her on climbing into the car by herself and she's already in a toddler bed and climbing on furniture so hopefully it won't be too bad. We're also working on stability on the stairs. So much more to worry about with a second baby!
jnetx DD is rear facing too, but her seat is in the middle so she has room to climb up and on to the seat, then into her carseat. It's definitely not perfect but it's helping so far. She never wants to get out of the tub so I haven't even had her try to climb out on her own. I hadn't thought of that. I guess we'll work on that next.
Our timelines are so close! DD will also turn 2 one month after my due date.
