Henley is starting to be so smart and sassy, and I kind of love it. She's fully potty trained and while it's great not having two in diapers, her desire to visit every public restroom when we are out is gross! Every time I get to the back of target she has to pee, restaurants she goes at least three times (pees probably once). It's too soon to call her bluff but seriously child!
Macie is three months and is doing great! She is still on zantac and the pedi wants to allow her to outgrow the dose and see if she still needs it. She still has a dairy intolerance. I can get by with cheese or sour cream but if I drink a glass of milk she's miserable within hours. I've tried twice. She's so smiley now, I kind of feel like someone took my baby and gave me a new one.
I'm back to work, this is my second week. Going back this time was a little easier and I felt totally guilty about it. She's on site as my work has a daycare and Henley goes there so I know all of the workers. I think that helped ease my mind. I've been able to go over and nurse her during the day too. Plus maternity leave was so hard with a crying baby, I was ready for adult time. The first time since birth I had been alone was sitting in my cube on my first day back. H has pickup duty and Monday was the first time he ever had both girls alone. He was nervous but did fine.

I'm glad you all are doing well!!
I hope A can outgrow the dairy / zantac thing as well and I fuess there is hope for me and sour cream. Ha.
It's awesome you have the dc so close by and know everyone. That would make things much easier, don't feel guilty about not feeling bad returning to work. You're awesome!!

It's good to hear from you! I feel like I am missing so much not being on the FB group!
Henley and her wanting to always use the potty is cracking me up. I never thought about that but I feel like using any/every toilet is probably really exciting to them lol. But I agree, sadly too early to call their bluff! I can't believe Macie is 3 months already. Time is flying by! Glad to hear she is doing better with the Zantac and no dairy.
Wow, it was great to sign in and see a bunch of new posts on here!
My update is that I'm 4 weeks away from my due date with DD2. It's been nice the second time around not having to worry about researching and buying all the things you need for a new baby (The nursery is all ready to go since moving DD1 into her new room), but now I'm in full panic mode about how things will work with a 2 1/2 year old when I go into labor. She's been really difficult with babysitters lately, even her grandparents, and having some major separation anxiety whenever DH and I leave. Plus she's majorly excited about the new baby's arrival, so if DH and I are leaving to have the baby without her she's going to lose it. Maybe she can just come along and be my doula?
I'm right there with you on looking forward to going back to work after having a screaming baby on leave. I was that way with DS1. He finally grew out of the colic at about 10 weeks, and I was back at work at 12 weeks, but I was ready. I had a harder time going back with DS2 because he was such an easy baby, and I feel like I was so focused on keeping schedules that I missed some of the just sitting and snuggling my baby time.
Glad to hear everything is going well! I had to give up dairy due to DS2's eczema, and it sucked at first, but now that I've been doing it for 6 months, I don't even miss it, and my skin looks amazing these days without it. I don't use anything other than a wet wash cloth to clean it before bed, not lotion needed, and I don't wear make up other than mascara these days. I try and remember this when a piece of pizza is calling my name.
