I'm thankful for my support system! This has been a really difficult couple months dealing with IF, and my friends and family have been amazing. Yesterday a friend surprised me with a gift - a onesie that says "make a wish" for one day when I am finally a mother. It was so sweet.
I am thankful for DD and how she is happy at the mere sight of me despite everything that has happened in the past 7 months. She is my reason for being.
I'm thankful for DH, who, despite our differences and little meaningless fights over nothing, still holds me tightly each night and defends me even when I'm unable to do so myself. May I one day be able to do the same.
I'm thankful for all of my friends, both on and offline. Also, those I consider family, whether by blood or by choice. We stick together, and I hope that never changed.
I'm thankful for this house even if it's not in a place I particularly like. At least we have a home when others are not always so fortunate.
I'm thankful for this yard, which will give DD a place to play as she gets older:
Lastly, I'm thankful for my job. I may hate it or be so bored to tears with it sometimes, but as time goes on, I've learned to pick my battles and stick with the people who make it worth it.
This week I'm specifically thankful to a person I work with. He has no idea that what he said to me has likely prompted me to join y'all when this confidential board thing gets hashed out.
And for all you ladies who make this board exist.
For DW who is rockin' it these days. She's observably back to her old self, yet I know it's been and continues to be a challenge.
And for new members of the Dad's board. Thanks to the Ladies who have suggested our board to your partners.
