So, em, I have been kind of MIA for the past month, I think, for a few reasons, but I am back, if you will all still have me.

Basically, a month ago my partner left me for another woman. She said she had had 'feelings' for the other woman for at least six months and that she couldn't ignore them anymore. So, off she went. She has moved in with the other woman, I've now moved into a one bedroom flat and we are currently in the process of selling our house.

The good news is that I am now 15 weeks and three days pregnant. I have finally had my first ultrasound, and genetic testing done and found that I am having a very healthy baby girl! I swore I would be team green, and then when my doctor asked me if I wanted to know the sex, I just kind of said yes anyway, haha. My morning sickness has finally gone, I am feeling much more energetic than I have done in months, and in general, despite everything, me and baby are fine and I'm feeling pretty good. My ex-partner is hasn't decided if she wants to be in my babies life yet, so that will be interesting, but we'll see.   

So will you still have me?

I'm so sorry to hear about the upheaval in your life and I hope that it's relatively smooth sailing from hear on.

Def we will have you. I feel so sad for you. I don't know the history between you too but it sounds so shitty that she did that to you and your baby. It might be a struggle but I am sure you will make it through it all. You deserve better than that. Someone who is going to love you and stick by you through everything. Especially getting pregnant, ugh that makes my heart hurt for you. Let me know if you need anything and yay for a girl! We are having a baby boy!

That sucks although you glad for your good news. Keep an open mind. My cousin also had the same thing happen to her. She ended up finding a girl with a 2 children and she has always been good with kids. They just got their marriage cert and I am sooo happy for them. Now she has 2 kids and I have 2 new cousins!! Both of the are AWESOME! Could totally happen to you.

Sorry, guys, never meant to post and run but its been a hectic few days.

I feel like I might cry, I missed you all. And so many babies and pregnancies whilst I was away! I feel like I've missed so much.

I'm meeting A on Monday, since she said she had an 'idea' for the house she wanted to discuss. I haven't seen her since she moved out the house, and she hasn't even asked about the ultrasound two weeks ago, so I'm kind of guessing she doesn't want to be involved in my baby's life. I cant decide if that's a good thing or not.

I'm sorry she hasn't asked. That sucks. If she doesn't want to be involved it sounds like you and the baby are much better off without her.

I hate when people say this, "everything happens for a reason". Because I don't believe that it is always true, but I do believe that in a lot of cases things do happen for a reason. Sounds like it may be a blessing that you all are breaking up now and not after the baby comes. But at the same time I would be scared thinking of raising a kid on my own. My ex is actually with a woman whose partner left her while she was pregnant and they are really happy. I think she was a single mom for a year or so but made it through.

I think there are a few single moms on this board too. So maybe they could give you advice if that is the road you take.

Anyway, I hope you are feeling ok through all this.

That's funny you always wanted a girl. I think I wanted a boy initially but now I'm so glad I had a girl. They are awesome!!

Congrats on that baby girl! Though, I am sorry for what you are going through right now. Maybe it is better it happen now than after the baby is born if she chooses to not be in the child's life. It sounds like you are incredibly strong, and I wish you nothing but the best.
