It's been raining and cold for a week, still down about the DH job stuff, new issues at my job, and visit to MIL's tomorrow. :/
BUT.....I'm breezing through my commute....there is no traffic, it's Friday, and LO made his first little scoots that actually look like crawling forward last night. So.....

It's Monday here. After H being home for 4 days.
Oh, and guess what? Allll the help and chores that he did in 4 days total I could have gotten done in 2.5 hours by myself. Yeah. His next day off is next Wednesday and that will be his only day, probably.
You guys. Someone swooped in and stole my baby at around midnight lastnight and left me with a whiney, screamy devil child.
I hope the nap that just took me 45 minutes to get him to go down will bring back my laid back angelic baby.
In all seriousness, today is the closing for the house we sold. Yay, yes because it will be off our backs but we don't have the 20k we were supposed to have today. SO, yeah. there's that. we have eleventy plans to get through today. H is stressed out of his mind poor guy. This crazy screaming baby we have isn't helping. We are both on edge. I've had like 3 panic attacks over the last two days. I think Liam might be feeding off our bad energy. We just have to get through the next couple of days. Our loan is still under review. We were told we were going to get it, and then they said they wanted to review some more. Ugh.
Can you guys please send good thoughts that our loan comes through last minute??

wildflower810, I feel like we should hang out and leave our DHs with their electronics, games and failed attempts at cleaning. At least they try...but it usually ends up making double work right?? Story of my life.
Fx for you, jjh1119. Yay for easy commute littleapplemom. Glad class was good last night for you, MsNicole06. wildflower810 and littleapplemom - Sorry you are part of the not-so-helpful hubby club. I just appreciate my guy since he does pitch in, on his own time.
I've been stressing out over a major project going live next week at work. It's been early days and late nights and missed or consolidated pump sessions. I just can't wait for it to be done. In order to support the roll out, we'll be working 14 hours days. For me, that's 3 pumping sessions that I have to figure out as well as having MH adjust his work schedule so he can do drop off and pick up. I'm losing my mind here.
spiraltheory Does your baby lack fiber in his diet? Teehee.
My LO won't hold her own bottle or food. She munched, err, scrapped her teeth, on an apple slice last night, but only while we held it to her mouth. If she took it, she treated it like any other toy and eventually dropped it.

I have been very absent lately... I've missed reading all of your comments. I'll have to go back and read the last few days and catch up.
littleapplemom, Yay for no traffic and a scooting baby . Everyone keeps telling me I'm going to hate it when he starts crawling... but I really can't wait till he does!
jjh1119, FX that your loan goes through and that you have a smooth closing!!
My randoms: -I'm going garage sale shopping today.... BY MYSELF!!! -I decided to start weight watchers again. About 5 years ago I lost 20 lbs on it and kept most of it off until I got pregnant. I feel like I just need that extra accountability to not eat whatever I'm craving at the moment. -yesterday I cleaned out my classroom and said goodbye to all of my co-workers. I really am a SAHM now! It's exciting but sad at the same time. I was a music teacher and really loved my job, but I am so happy that this is where I am now. I really am going to miss it though.
littleapplemom yay for a fast commute! jjh1119 good vibes sent your way!! FX. spiraltheory a coupon?! Haha gldnbearz I hope your project goes smoothly and is over quickly. singingmama10 that sounds bittersweet about cleaning out your stuff but I'm glad your happy stay at home! MsNicole06 yikes about to crawl! My LO still doesn't even really like to roll lol. LO has a tooth I can see trying to break through and she's been fussy. Spent a fair amount of time in the bed with us after hardly doing that for a few weeks. Oh well. I hope everyone has a wonderful Friday! I have a lot to do and I feel like not too much time, but we'll see.
jjh1119 I hope everything works out with the loan!
singingmama10 That is bittersweet. It's awesome that you are happy where you're at! Have fun garage sale-ing by yourself, that sounds super fun! I am staying away from garage sales this season because we're moving and I don't need any more crap haha!
My LO is not close to crawling either. And while the thought of her being mobile does scare me, I'm really excited at the same time.
My H helps a lot when he can, so I'm not complaining! But I do feel like Superwoman sometimes because he can't take care of LO and get anything else done at the same time. And that is what I do all day long. Sometimes he's like, "Wow, you cleaned the kitchen really fast!" or "Whoah, you changed her diaper already? That was quick." And I'm like, yeah. I have to do things fast and multitask or else nothing would get done.
Today, in the grocery store checkout, they had a display of 4th of July balloons. LO kept looking at them and laughing at them! It was the cutest thing, and the older ladies ringing up and bagging my groceries were loving it too.
jjh1119, fingers crossed!!! house buying and selling is stressful no matter what. during our closing our underwriter called and asked for MORE documents. uh, we're literally buying this house as they call... so... wtf.
Ladies! I totally see how people die off from this board now. Work exploded, my kid is more mobile than I'd like and I'm still in camp "go immediately to bed with baby goes to bed". I've missed you all! I tried to read and love tit as I could but I'm sure things have gone on that I missed. It's hard to jump back in!
updates: two teeth, heat rash which prompted a doctor call, sleep improvements then back to normal, eating more and more solids daily and fighting me on drinking milk, rocking on the hands and knees but not close to crawling HOWEVER rolls all over the place. BABY STAY STILL.
hoping next week gets quieter and i can participate more!
pixie523 it's good to hear from you! I was just thinking of you yesterday, in a non creepy internet way haha. Sounds like you have been crazy busy. I hope things slow down for you. nerdalert my husband is the same! He helps a lot but I feel like he's gotten sooo slooow. The mornings he's around to help me and LO get ready, I swear it takes longer lol. I always get annoyed at him, but then I feel bad because he loves helping get her ready for the day.

pixie523 - I was wondering how you were doing too. But I COMPLETELY understand. I start to read posts in the morning and then days like today (5 hours later) I actually get a minute to respond. But I have a million things i need to go do. I had DH take LO to BIL's just so I could have 2 hours to get everything done. jjh1119 - Ugh! Sorry about the loan. Hopefully plan B works out in your favor. Good luck!
Aaaand it is (almost) official! We purchased a minivan last night. Got a new Honda Odyssey. I haggled like crazy, and got them to take our Explorer (without it being with us) for my asking price, plus I haggled on the price. We make the trade today. We're happy to let the Explorer go, it's been a great car, but it's 9 years old and little things are starting to go wrong with it. The upside is it only has 57k miles on it, so that was a huge selling point. Anyhow, I have to go clean it out and cook a dish for a dinner we're going to tonight. Lots to do, so little time!

ninergirl52,is that the one with the vacuum in it??
So...DH has another opportunity coming up. Last year he had a series of interviews with this company and it went all the way to them flying him halfway across the country to their HQ. They ended up going with the other guy...who apparently just didn't work out. He has just "left" the company and DH was approached today to see if he has an interest. DH's current co uses the other co's products, it's way complicated how they all work together (the co he was just rejected by play into it too) but DH already had a presentation set for next week with this company and now the CEO is going to be there looking at him. So, we're not getting hopes up but this is really good exposure for him.
ninergirl52, yes! i'll start reading on the train in, but by the time i catch up to respond the day is basically over.
Trying to do a lot of prepping for tomorrow. I'm headed to visit my family with LO. It's just a day trip, but we're taking a train. I'm HOPING there is going to be a nap on the way in. She doesn't usually get to nap when we're shuttling around from house to house.
littleapplemom, would your DH have to relocate? Or are headquarters just in a different city?
Totally understand how hard it is to get posting during the day. Naptimes are about it for me between work and cleaning and everything else.
Anyone else struggling hardcore with diaper changes?? I can't use the changing table anymore because he has no fear and throws himself all around. He reaches over the side. Dangerous pain.
And also, so much rolling over. He's tea bagging everything in his path.
ninergirl52 welcome to the. Minivan club. Did you go fancy and get the built in vacuum?
littleapplemom hope things go well for your DH. Would this require moving?
@jkh1119 we are all about the wiggling while getting our diaper change. At the last dr visit the Dr visit a comment was made I'd be like the Dr and learn to change a diaper while baby was standing. I have started keeping changing toys on the changing table so that way she'll be calm while I'm changing her.
I'm able to stay on top of posting only because it's summer and I'm off for the next 8 weeks until school starts back up again.
jjh1119 We are actually not struggling with diaper changes... LO actually sticks her legs up like she knows what she's there for! Haha, I guess I've got a diaper-changing unicorn!
I always hang out on here when LO is nursing or napping on me. She takes her sweet time when eating haha. I'm totally fine with it, because I love the cuddles!

We didn't get the one with the vacuum, that is the highest end one. We got the mid range one, no navigation or DVD players. I figure with the money we could have spent on that version I could buy a handful of iPads to hand out to everyone in the backseat. we don't do a lot of road trips & I don't drive everyday. So it should last us a long time. Turns out we don't have time to get it tonight so picking it up tomorrow.
As for Lo, he flips sometimes but mostly when I'm trying to change his clothes. If it's his diaper he's pretty good about it.
Haha I always think he won't flip because he lays well when I take the diaper off but he immediately flips Over even if I have a hand on him lol always after the diaper is off. Seriously. It takes two of us for poop diapers.
