Reusing/Upcycling Baby Related Items

I'm crafty and being a kindergarten teacher made me a craft supply hoarder so I'll save things like baby food jars for crafts. I'll probably turn some of LO's baby clothes, receiving blankets etc. into a quit for her.

My sister started making a quilt out of some of her girl's clothes and ended up turning it into 2 throw pillows for my mom. They are so cute.

I'm saving the big stuff for baby #2, if we have one. I'm making baby food, so no jars to reuse.

So, I guess to answer your question: no. But I'm not opposed to it.

I'm turning the elastic bottom sleep sacks in to night gowns. Though one I wanted to turn into a skirt.

I might make a rag quilt out of the receiving blankets.

This isn't crafty but my mom saved our baby shoes and tied the laces together and hangs them on the tree every year. I will be doing that with DS baby booties. It is so cute every year when you pull them out.

We've started compiling a "keep" and "give away/sell" pile of clothes that don't fit LO anymore. With the ones we keep, I'll probably have someone make a quilt/blanket out of them (because I'm not the least bit crafty lol)

This must be a teacher thing because u do this too! Or just a hoarder thing...

I'm also keeping some clothes for DD's to use them as baby doll clothes. My mom kept some of our outfits for our baby dolls and I loved that.

Any suggestions for reusing the formula containers? I've got a stockpile of empty Similac containers going but no idea what to use them for.
As far as gear and clothes go, saving it all for Baby #2.

Selling big stuff I don't want to store. I'd love to have someone make a quilt out of his newborn clothes.

Pinterest has nine bajillion cute and practical ideas for those. Pretty versatile I think.

We will be selling/donating everything other than the crib, and a couple mementos. Right now we're saving everything, because we *might* have a close-age sibling. Also might not. We'll see what the future holds.
