What a crappy start to the day....

So I pull into work and realize I left my pump at home. So I had to turn around and go back to get it. So of course now I'm super late to work.

And DS is finally about to cut his first tooth he has been cranky since yesterday.

I think I deserve the large coffee I stopped to get at Dunkin Donuts (hey I was already going to be late anyway)

doglover31, so sorry for the pump issue, I would have been so aggravated!! AND its not like you can just say screw it! Glad you got your large coffee, I stopped for one too instead of bringing it from home! I'm exhausted too and do not want to be here today!

I went to give DD a kiss goodbye this morning and instead she gave me a huge scratch on my cheek, ok, are you a cat?!

Weekend was good, we ended up getting the car seat, went with the Diono, tried it out yesterday. It seems like it is big for her so I'm confused because it says it can fit a 5 lb baby and she is at least 20 lbs so I'm not sure. I have it tightened as much as it can and it still seems loose. Probably still need to adjust something.

Sorry DS is cranky but glad to hear his first tooth is making an appearance.

We're having a rough morning here too. I got up at 4:15 with DH to help him get out the door on time for his flight- he's gone all week for work. DS woke up at 4:30, but went back down after eating. DH left at 5, and I was just dozing off when DS woke up again. His tooth that's been just under the surface for approximately forever is finally coming through. Oh and he's crawling now, and since DH hasn't had time to put child locks on the kitchen cabinets yet, I zip-tied them shut this morning. Now I'm waiting for DS to fall asleep so I can get in the shower. This is going to be a long week...

doglover31 - i feel ya! My pump broke last Thursday... then Friday, I forgot to bring it and had to turn around, too. The worst. Enjoy your coffee. You should've gotten a donut as well for your troubles...

melw629, Yes it does sound like a long week! I have no idea how single mothers do it, I would go out of my mind!! Yay for his first tooth but not the crankiness that goes along with it!

Yes lugging the pump stuff is annoying but I'm used to it at this point, as long as my pumping output remains good! DD turned 9 months yesterday so I'm waiting for the decline to start, I hope not!

So my boss has been super moody and unreadable lately, I can't figure her out. Well now she walks in today all smiles and super cheery, whaattt? OK...

also just said she is leaving for most of the day at 11:00 so bonus for me! All motivation will go out the window for today and I can probe most of the day with you all!!

I think DS is cutting his top teeth. Poor thing was not a happy camper Saturday night. I hope that if that is what it is, then they come in quickly. I was enjoying the few days of OK sleep that I was getting.

I hope DS has those teeth come in. DD has them and seems more content now that they are through

jt2378, I was wondering when DS was going to get teeth. (of course nothing has officially popped through yet so he is still toothless) We know several babies that are younger than DS and they have had teeth for months. However his bottom front is super swollen and red and looks like something will be coming through soon!

doglover31, yes I felt the same way with DD and then all of a sudden the bottom two came through like a month and half ago and then the top two just in the last couple weeks. It seems like they have been coming in pairs for her.

Her gums were swollen and felt hard so I'm sure his are coming soon!

My Monday has been really uninspired. Our whole day revolves around eating and nap times that rarely line up, so it's hard to get out of the house and do anything. I need to get some craft stuff to do with DD. I'm really good at pinning ideas, but not doing them.
