Has anyone been brave enough to do it yet?? We are going next weekend for Father's Day and I'm a little stressed about it. Any tips, helpful suggestions, pointers?!

I took her two weeks ago. She did awesome. We did get a mattress for the pack and play which is huge to pack but well worth it. She slept better there then she does at home.
Props to you for figuring it out with a little one!
I'm against all camping. Unless I have an air conditioned cabin with no bugs and adult beverages.. So, basically not real camping.
And, Leapinglizards, did her pack n play go in the tent? How did that work?
Lol same. When we go to Sequoia National Park I even make sure to rent one of the cabins with a private bathroom (not all have bathrooms). I am not a real camper either.
Yeah, my boys think what we are doing this weekend is camping. It's a 4,000 sq ft "cabin"... really roughing it.
DH mentioned camping this fall. I have zero interest in tent camping with a 14/15 month old. All I think about is the last camping trip we did right after I found out I was pregnant. The site next to has had a little kid probably 14 months or so who was crying all night and all morning. Nope, no thank you.
We are going next month to the Adirondacks. But it's not real camping because we will have beds, a kitchen and a bathroom. It's in the woods, that counts as camping in my book.

That totally counts! Where I'm going this weekend has no cell service, so it counts.

And the possibility of lots of bugs = camping to me. Yikes! Ive never been and im afraid to start now!
We went camping a few weeks ago. It wasn't bad at all. We brought the pack and play and used the white noise app on my phone. She woke up once and only cried for a minute or two. We have a big tent that has dividers you can put up to make "rooms." We put one up so DD couldn't see us. Bring something to stick LO in, such as a stroller while cooking etc. I forgot ours and really wished we had it. We had a lot of fun and I'm not a camper at all. We went with 2 other couples so that helped too.
