Wondering if you ladies preferred a rocker, glider, or something else with multiples? The logistics of tandem nursing is blowing my mind right now, and with our tight space I'm trying to figure out what will fit- A nursery chair will certainly fit, but if its never getting used, I don't want to waste the space or money (those things are EXPENSIVE!)
I had a glider from DD and with the twins it was pretty much only used for rocking, not so much nursing. They were in our room for 12 weeks and the nursery is directly across the hall, so I always nursed in our bed at night.
ETA: During the day we mostly stayed downstairs and nursed on the couch.
We didn't have space for a chair of any kind in the nursery so we skipped it. I figured if I was constantly wishing for one after the babies were here we could get one then. I wasn't able to nurse but we fed on the couch in the living room. It's like five steps away from their nursery, closer than our bedroom, and it worked great. Even with nursing number three I still didn't miss a rocker/glider and our house probably loves me for not trying to cram more stuff into it.

I had a rocking chair for DD. It was a pass down from being a gift from my dad to my mom when she was pregnant with me. I rarely used it for rocking other than a few nights early on when she was gassy.
Because of having to move the rooms around in our house to accommodate twins, there is a small loveseat. Its being used for clothes. I spend most of our time downstairs so I'm usually feeding them downstairs and at night feed upstairs and swaddle back up quickly.
TL;DR: I haven't missed having seating place in either nursery.
I have a glider but haven't used it for the twins. It isn't roomy enough to tandem nurse in. I tandem on the couch or on a lazy boy recliner that rocks.
We got a rocker recliner that was wider than the others plus we got the ottoman. I think we should have enough room to put a standard glider that was a hand me down from family so that a second person could help rock or burp a baby.
Thanks for all the feedback! Our house is a ranch, so I there's no upstairs/downstairs issue, and the nursery is just down the hall from our room (our closets share a wall). I think we'll hold off on the nursery chair for now, and maybe buy a chair & a half with an ottoman or a rocking recliner for the downstairs family room if we are really missing it.
