I have random thoughts. There was a crisis right as I got to work today. It's handled now, but oy! I had ordered some keds and I'm wearing them for the first time today. jjh1119 I think you said you had some too. They're different from what I wore as a kid- improved! I can feel a pimple forming on my cheek and I'm not happy about it.
Morning! Trying to get a million tasks done in this quick 30 min nap. It's supposed to rain all day but it's sunny right now. We may be going to the cape in a bit to run some errands. Or tomorrow. Depending on how much we get done this morning. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and 80. So I wouldn't mind going to the cape tomorrow and grabbing a lobster roll by the water. Hmm decisions
I'm pro keds too! I buy a pair every summer. I have to toss them by the end of the summer because they REAK. Like something crawled into my shoe and died level of stink.
I'm having some job ennui lately. I'm starting to get burnt out on my job and have a lot of conflicting feelings about my company, but they're incredibly flexible about my schedule. I'd like to go do something new, but this job makes the most sense for my family right now. SIGH.

jjh1119,lobster roll....drooool. Yes please! zengal,Yay for crisis averted. Yay for Keds. Need to get some. Do they sell slouch socks anymore? BecauseI would absolutely get a hot pink pair and a neon green pair and double up!
FX for the DH today....he's about to present at a conference with a crap ton of contacts. If this goes well he may be in line for a position he was passed over on a year ago. We need this so badly.
littleapplemom I have a pair of blue slouch socks from kohls lol. H gave them to me for Christmas.
I could walk to the water and get a lobster roll at any of the 7thousand crab and clam shacks in my town. But going to the cape for one is still fun lol
FX for your H today!
pixie523 flexible schedule is definitely key right now. Hang in there

I'm 35 and I love Taylor Swift. I thought she was the cutest nicest girl from the beginning. She started to get big around the same time as Miranda Lambert. Love her too!
@littleapplemon good luck to your husband! Fx and good vibes your way. I've never had a lobster roll... Sounds pretty yummy though! My job is also flexible which is huge. Apparently LO woke up last night and I slept through her crying. I woke up to DH giving her to me so she could nurse. I don't think that's ever happened. I felt terrible that I didn't hear her. She was up a lot and then continued to spend the rest of the night in bed with us. Oops.
Good morning! Lots of exciting stuff going on over here!
-LO STTN (11:30pm-7am) Best. Night. Ever. -DH is swearing in to the Army this week and has a ship-out date for basic training (not for a couple months). I will miss him a lot, but I'm so proud of him, and he got the exact job he wanted reserved. I'm excited for this new adventure! So the next 2 months will be filled with packing up our apartment, (I'm moving in with my parents while he's in basic) moving, paperwork, and doing fun stuff before he leaves. -We decided to start TFAS in February.
keds: I wore keds all the time when I was a kid! Now I have a pair of keds-like shoes from forever 21 that I wear all the time.
Taylor Swift: I don't actively listen to her, but I like it when I hear it.
sadie74 I live in coastal New England. So lobster rolls are pretty common. I usually get a "jumbo" one with no mayo. Basically it's like 20-30 bucks but like 3 lobsters worth of meat without having to break open the shells. I don't even eat the bread haha. lazy
nerdalert sounds like some exciting stuff ahead! I hope training goes by quickly for you though. But yay for staying with your parents! I wish you good luck with that
Taylor swift- I like her music. But she is such a great celebrity/role model. I follow her on Instagram and she is so down to earth. She posts a lot of videos of her cat which are quite funny

I may get flamed but what are Keds? Also you should know that I haven't bought a new pair of shoes in 2 years. Lol.
nerdalert-wow you will be busy in the next few months! sadie74- This happened to me before. It's ok because your H was able to comfort her. Also I have been brining Isaac into the bed in the mornings especially if he won't settle after feeding. It's becoming a habit . littleapplemom- I became a fan recently. She seems like a great role model for young girls. Also her Christmas gifting this past year was just amazing. jjh1119- that sounds fantastic! pixie523 - maybe this is a good time to start to explore what you might enjoy doing.
I had a tough day yesterday, I had the worst migraine when I got home. Then today I have been so nauseous. I swear I just need to switch up the eating habits again. Eek. I just want to feel normal again. I am trying to be positive but I don't know what the issue is. Should I see a dietician? Or a doctor? I can't help but think it is food related.

See a dietitian. Anything food related should always be handled with a Dietitian. Most now even have to have a masters in nutrition to maintain their RD position. Drs. get a handful of nutrition classes, but nothing compared to the real deal. You may need a referral from your doctor, though.
I think it may be food related as well. You got your gallbladder removed, correct? I am quite a few years out of college/out of practice (I worked in weight loss mainly) but it would do wonders.
pixie523 you used one of my sister's favorite words! I make a mental tick note each time she says ennui. Can you ask for a new project to make it more exciting? Good luck on the presentation mr littleapplemom! gldnbearz our office is business cas and I have my keds on with a knit skirt. I wore my preppy glasses to complete the look nerdalert wow, yes! Lots of exciting stuff! Yay sleep and I hope the packing gets off to a great start. February this year or next? Get checked out songbirdsinging55! You've had some off days and I want you to feel better. Fftc: I have a girl crush on tswift. I can't get enough of her wardrobe and her business sense. Smart lady.

jjh1119- Cute shoes! Also yes I had my gallbladder removed 6 weeks PP. So it has been about 6 months. I was on a strict diet but hungry all the time. I slowly eased certain foods back in but now I am back to not being able to keep foods in my system. I also have battled acid reflux all my life so I think that is coming back with a vengeance.
AF showed up today. Go a-freaking-way! H and I dtd recently and now I'm thinking "darn it, we could have forgone protection and still been fine." We're also a hot mess with naps today since we left the house to go to a park right as M wanted to nap. Totally my fault, but I'm still kinda kicking myself. Hopefully he does okay the rest of the day.
I'm pro keds too! I buy a pair every summer. I have to toss them by the end of the summer because they REAK. Like something crawled into my shoe and died level of stink.

This is so me! The job I have makes too much sense for my family to leave even though I REALLY want to. Boo

Without the gallbladder there are certain foods that sort of need to stay off limits because the enzymes needed to break them down are no longer in your system. Mostly fats. A dietitian will be able to help you meal plan so you are not actually hungry all the time
I also love the shoes. Perfect to pair with cute dresses and of course preppy glasses as zengal, stated lol. T swift pulls them off flawlessly with any outfit.
I desperately need to clean my house. Or really just purge a bunch of stuff. It makes me stressed to see all of our junk laying around. If only I had the time or energy...
Re: Taylor Swift - I absolutely love her. I love her country, her pop, and whatever else she decides to sing. She seems like such a good person and her music is addicting.

I'm going to hang in there until LO is a year, and reevaluate then. I like what I do, for the most part, just not where I do it or who I do it for...
catlady22 - I hear you on the need to purge or clean or re-organize. I may have to take a page out of pixie523's book and take a personal day after this project roll out to clean. It certainly isn't getting done on the weekend.
I'm in training all day and while there are some great idea there is a lot of waste of time. It always works this way. DD is MIL today and I'm waiting to see what won't make it home and will take months to get back. I'm glad she takes DD usually once a week but wish she would return burp cloths or clothes if DD had to be changed when we pick her up. I let DH know he need to try and get things when he picks up. Last week I got a 3 month outfit back that had finally been washed.
MsNicole06, I have a plastic bag in my diaper bag. I usually ask whatever is dirty to just go straight in there. I will deal with the cleaning when I get home.
I think we are at a growth spurt right now. He's actually had a few full bottles last night and today. He slept for an hour at 9. Slept for TWO at 12 and now he is laying down for another nap. AND he went to bed almost a whole hour earlier than normal and woke up an hour later than normal.
I started buying 12 and 18 month clothes to prepare.
songbirdsinging55, I bought Liam an amazing spiderman sweatshirt yesterday on clearance at the Children's place. I thought of you. They also have the avengers. They are super cute. It was 50% off in the store, thought it still says $29.95 on the website.
