thanks for this requiressnacks!
My DH is really concerned for me. I am trying to tell him it is not that big a deal, but he keeps asking me to go see a dr. This past cycle was 38 days. I have been about 32 days (give or take a day) since Nov 2014. Again, nothing really concerning. I also have really light bleeding. I spot a few days, then have a day or two that require a tampon, but still on the lighter side. When I was on BCP I would have about 4-5 days of bleeding nothing heavy but just more flowy than now. DH has major anxiety (diagnosed). He gets very antsy when he feels stress coming on. TTC has been very stressful for both of us. I feel stressed because he is so anxious. He asked me several times yesterday "If i am ok?". I try to explain to him that cycles can vary for many reasons. But he is adamant that I schedule a dr visit. How can I explain to DH that this is not a big issue?
My periods are similar to yours. On bcp, they lasted for days and without they are very manageable (spotting + light flow for 1/2 days + spotting).
I would maybe get your husband to focus on ovulation rather than blood. Ovulation gets you pregnant and you need to do it regularly. Length of period and amount of blood per day really isn't telling you anything about pregnancy - ovulation is where it's at.
Would that give him something else to obsess about instead, though?
