Man! The day I decide to actually do work at work I feel like I miss out on so much! I send hugs where they are needed. pixie523 2 weeks? You're doing awesome. And I feel ashamed Yay for dietitians songbirdsinging55! And now I want a parent as teachers lady.

songbirdsinging55, voting talk to DH. Wacky situation....we have a similar one with SS's stepfather (mother's husband). I alwasys say, if I wrote a book about the things that go on no one would believe it!! Seriously though, talk with DH. It will be for the best. jjh1119, catlady22 I like to dress LO up too, but only when I have time to wrestle the little alligator. His Christening is in a week and a half and i picked out the cutest short set. I can already hear the whining about non-stretchy material.

zengal,Working at work...I know!!! This sucks. First one in and last one out. Stuck here because of the client's stupid mistake. At least I make OT, but less baby snuggles is the pits.
Back home from the cape. We had to ship an order. Yay for DTD pixie523. Good luck!
zengal that's funny. I'm thinking when he's walking maybe I will get him some jeans. But still easy clothes over here.
In other news.... We got the loan!! We will be able to pay some things off, get the other debts squared away with the house sale and have one low monthly payment! We can breathe now.
jjh1119, Yay for the loan but tell me all about your lobster roll please!
Damn, I should have taken a pic! Next time I have one I will. It was delicious, though. Since we found out about the loan we went to this particular raw bar place for our roll because they're like 45 bucks each but like 1 lb of lobster on the roll. Butter and pesto mayo on the side. Deeeeeeelicious. We shared some fries and had a few little necks on the half shell.
This is just the start of all the lobster, little necks, clam boils and crabs for me. Yum for summer.

songbirdsinging55, I read everything you wrote like three times and I still can't make heads or tails out of it, so I can't imagine what you're dealing with! I'm so sorry that this is stressful for you.
jjh1119, yay for the loan... and it's all you as far as making a baby. I'm hoping to be not in that boat for a while yet!!
The zoo was a blast. The exhibits are really huge and spacious so we saw like no animals. But, I got to hang out with moms and M had fun being around people. I wore him and walked... and walked... and walked some more. I'm so soooore! I'm really glad I had spaghetti planned for dinner because that was all I was up to making.
wildflower810 yay for a fun zoo trip! Babywearing+lots of walking is definitely a good exercise for mama. We won't actively try until after the summer because I want to drink lol. (As in charting temps, etc). But for now if we DTD and in fertile who knows what will happen.
We just bought some beach gear- a sunshade/tent and cooler. Now just to choose which beach we want to go to. I forgot how much I loved living here because this winter was so terrible. But damn is it awesome in the summer.
So here's the national parents as teachers website. You can put your location in and see if there is one in your area. www.parentsasteachers.org/location

jjh1119 that's great news about the loan and everything it's doing to give you wiggle room.
wildflower810 I love the zoo. We're looking at a zoo membership. How did your LO like it?
I'm thinking I need a mom group to join and maybe find people with babies the same age as DD. All my friends have children much older than DD. The two that have kids have a hot mess of personal lives. Has anyone joined one?
DD is all about bouncing and loves jumping. We just got her one of the chairs you put in a door frame and she is heaven every time we put her in it. She also figured out she could get to her burp cloths and now they are all over the hall way. She's so adorable that it's not bothering me I have another mess to clean up.
Waving hello from crazy work land. I am literally drowning at work and can't keep up at home. My H has a reduced schedule for July (he is an elementary school principal) where he works 9:00-3:00 instead of 7:00-5:30-6:00 so I am really looking forward to the extra help (he has plans for long trips to the gym and long bike rides but I'm about to squash those). I miss just being able to relax with lo in the evening but now its a constant battle between work/dinner/bath and him fighting bedtime like a champ. Took me an hour but he is asleep in his bed without nursing...we shall see how long it lasts but I am counting it as a victory.
jjh1119 you put me to absolute shame in the DTD department even before baby I didn't have a crazy libido and now it is basically nonexistent. I can count on one hand the number of times it has happened since November and really since line last May because as soon as my belly started rounding my H completely checked out, he said it was too weird that he would have to "look Max in the eyes someday" but I honestly wasn't too upset about it. I am just too exhausted, luckily my H has not complained at all and is super supportive in that regard.
I now also want my own parent lady and I also need a mom's group...except I have no time :-(
spikesmom my h had the same feelings regarding pregnancy sex. It was a lot of "it's not you, it's her"
Also zengal, I did some calendar reviewing and it's been way longer than two weeks. We're rounding towards a month. AND MAYBE LONGER IF SOMEONE KEEPS BEING A DBAG.
Congratulations on the loan jjh1119! And thanks for the link too. So glad you had fun at the zoo wildflower810! spikesmom Definite victory! I hope Max stays asleep and makes your efforts worthwhile!! Last night after two hours of trying to get baby to sleep I gave up and brought her into bed and we had lovely nurse/sleep all night long after that. pixie523 Dbags get no bootie, no matter how long it's been! I hope he knows he ruined it-
Oh, I forgot to add that when I got home after my long day, MH hands me the baby and said, "ehhh." There was poop up to her armpits, front and back. Dried on her shirt. Who knows when it happened. Welcome home, haha! But truly, it was a fun bathtime, so that made up for it.

I've been reading along today but can't remember specific things to point out.. Too tired. But hope everyone is having a good hump day. Just wanted to share a 7 month photo of my little lady. 7 months on the 8th
jjh1119 I'm with you on the comfy outfits! My next baby will wear nothing but sleepers for at least the first 4 months, haha. No way am I messing with fancy outfits.
jax1182014 your daughter is so adorable! nerdalert I agree with you. Next time around I'm not even going to attempt to put fussy outfits next time. If you give me a fussy outfit pre size 12 months I'm probably going to exchange it instead of try to use it
