The crib is still on the top level. DS doesn't push up to sitting or pull to standing yet and it's so much easier on my back at the top level. DH insisting we lower it this weekend and I'm kinds bummed about it.
Same here. But we're not lowering it until DS can lift himself.
Earlier in the day DH and I were watching DS on the monitor in the crib standing 20 times...falling 20 times. We lowered it to the second lowest level the other day but bc he's so tall, DH said we should lower it all the way. I said no no no, not yet. Selfishly bc I have a bad back. Well...Mom of the year here...he busted his lip in the crib today. I feel like an asshole.
@northface I am so with you... and I just like saying "love tit."
My Mom confession... my little darling was up all night last night crying (more teeth coming?) and I was a zombie this morning. I packed his daycare bag with bottles, milk, and cereal the night before but in my stupor I forgot to pack his baby food. Mother of the year forgot to pack food for her child. Thank GOODNESS my Grandmother watches him and has a key to my house! She came and got the food for me.
Also, I enjoy long luxurious showers after work a couple times a week and don't even feel bad when my husband has to deal with a cranky baby at nap time.
Apparently DD started crying in the middle of the night the other night and I turned off all the monitors in my sleep (I have two to prevent this, but I can't be held responsible for sleepy mom). I woke up at 7 in the morning after having slept through the night for the first time in months. She was playing in her crib when I woke up and was totally fine. But still.. oops?

This has happened to me... more than once. With both kids. Everyone survived.
I'm with you there - once or twice. She has almost no hair and her scalp gets really dry when we wash too much. And she's not a huge fan so I can justify it.
Same here. Dr suggested it due to eczema and sensitive skin. Plus its freezing and we are barely out. In the summer we do wash down in just water more often.
DS gets one or two baths a week too. I was more ambitious at first, but it changed quickly.
I got yelled at in the hospital because I wasn't tracking DS's feeds to their liking (like, I wasn't writing anything down). Needless to say, I didn't track his feeds/diapers/etc. (I did for a long time with DD and tried to give them to the pedi at a checkup, and he looked at me funny and said he didn't need that...so with this one I just throw a hair tie on the wrist on the side I need to feed from next and hope he survives!)

My mom confession is I had free time yesterday from my dd who is 4. She went to grandmas. Instead of cleaning or working on things, I played on my computer & set up a new siggy & avatar here, among other non useful things. I was having a hard time getting motivated.
